And thus concludes the PROLOGUE of this little comic of mine. Next will be “EPISODE 1 - PART 1”
I wanna take this chance to thank EVERYONE who’s been following the comic so far. I’ll be honest, I never thought that ANYONE would actually read this crap! Hell, I thought I’d be lucky to get, like, I dunno, 10 people to even look at this! But you did, and that encouraged me to keep doing this. And I am really, really thankful for that.
I also wanna use this chance to tell you that the next part will be published on FEBRUARY. There will be NO COMIC NEXT MONTH. I want to use this time to really polish the comic. The script, mostly.
I’ll be frank, alot of what you folks read this past months? I pulled them out of my ass! Well, not completely, but most of it. I mean, I had a general idea of what story I want to tell, and what key points/moments I wanna hit, but I was wingin’ it most of the time. Hell, that whole scene about El’s wife’s tattoo? In “Part 6”? I had no idea what I was doing! I wrote it, then I was like: “Fuck! I don’t know how to design tats! The fuck am I doing?!”
The point is that, I wanna make the comic better. You know, more tight! More Lovecraftian even! Better foreshadowing, better art, better characterization, better pacing, flow, design, symbolism, all that shit!
So, anyway, yeah, that was longer that I thought it’d be. Once again, I wanna thank everyone who’s followed me so far, I really love you for it, all of ya!
