Kanami smiled at Annalise. She then stood up and walked in between Sarah and Annalise. “Why don’t you go away Sarah. No one here wants to put up with your crap today. Annalise hasn’t done anything she just trying to eat.” Kanami said with a sigh. Sarah looked surprised people usually didn’t talk to her like such. But she quickly fixed her expression and told Kanami “You seriously think you can just ignore what she did?” Kanami interrupted Sarah and said “Does it matter it’s over and done with leave her alone. Jensen let it go and we’re trying to but you won’t go away.” Sarah was furious. Everyone else feared her or loved her, why were these two just not listening. She started snickering. “I guess I’ll have to show you who the top witch is around here. I challenge you two to a dual after school in the training field.” When Sarah said this a magically agreement shot up between them. Sarah pressed her thumb to the paper, signaling she agreed. Then turned to Annalise and Kanami she pushed the agreement their way and said “Only one of you needs to agree I’m fine with a one on one, although I doubt even if both of you tried you couldn’t land a hit. A teacher will supervise if your to scared!” Kanami wonder why this school allowed magic duals. She began to grab the agreement but before she could a thumb for behind her gentle pressed on the agreement. Kanami looked back to see Annalise smiling at her. “It’s fine Kanami if there’s something I’m good at it’s fighting.” Annalise said with a smile. Kanami was shocked, she did not expect her to do that. Sarah spoke up as the agreement disappeared. “Well I guess I will see you at 3:45. Try not to bleed to much.” With that she swished her blonde hair behind her shoulders and turned and strutted away, the two twins follow right along behind. Annalise still smiling patted Kanami’s shoulder. “It’s fine I’ve been fighting my whole life, every school I’ve been to, every kid on the street, they all seemed to have a problem with me and would pick a fight. It’s daily life now. You don’t need to get dragged into all this.” Annalise said this and dropped her hand. Her smile faded for a second but soon returned. Kanami didn’t like the sound of her life so far, though she didn’t know her that well this whole day she had been kind to her. She even stuck up for her in the hallway. She didn’t much think Annalise deserved the way people were to her. “ I am sorry you’ve had to deal with all this. It isn’t fair to you. You don’t seem like a mean person to me.” Kanami spoke softly with a frown. The lunch bell rang, signaling the end of lunch period. The two girls looked at each other. Annalise grabbed her tray and walked to place it in the bin. As she pasted Kanami she mumbled “I may not be the person you think I am.” Kanami turned and watched her walk away. Then grabbed her tray, put it up and headed to class.

Kanami spent the rest of the day up until the bell rang at 3:30 trying to figure out just what Annalise meant by what she had said or if she even heard it right. She was still thinking about it as she made her way to her locker and put her things away. She then grabbed her broom and headed for the training area. When she arrived Annalise and Sarah were already there along with Couch Tellywiggins, who walked up to the two girls and spoke. “You two will follow the rules. 1) No face shots. 2) No spells intended to murder or seriously injure. 3) No mind erasers. 4) When one or the two on you is knocked out or unable to continue we stop. Further more if at anytime this should get out of hand I will stop the fight. Annalise if you should win you will hold the top spot for the school. Sarah if you should win you will stay the top spot. Who ever loses drops 5 spots from where they were. Annalise your currently ranked 56th seeing as how you have never dualed before. Does everyone understand?” The two girls nodded yes. Kanami found a spot on the bleachers. So many people had come to see the top witch fight. Kanami was worried and nervous. “Regardless of what she may have said I still don’t feel she’s bad, I want to be her friend and I don’t want her hurt.” Kanami mumbled to her self. Coach Tillywiggins let the ball of light into the air, it changed from red to yellow then green. It was the start of the fight. The two girl started to glow with magic.
