"Attention, class." The teacher raps her ruler against her desk, silencing the excited chatter that vibrates through the room. "Today we'll be accepting a new student into our class. Children, Adrien Agreste." She turns towards the door, which opens to reveal a blonde boy with sparkling green eyes. He's wearing a black T-shirt with a white long-sleeved jacket over it, blue skinny jeans, and pair of black and white converse sneakers. He flashes the class a cheerful grin and walks to the teachers desk. "Now, children, I know he's famous, but I ask that you treat him as you would any other student. Understood?"
There is a chorus of "Yes, miss"-s and "Okay"-s, occompanied by a few scattered nods. I notice one girl with platinum blonde hair seems particularly excited, she's bouncing up and down a little and whispering something into the ear of a red-haired girl with glasses that's sitting next to her. I don't know them very well, but Alya told me their names are Chloe and Sabrina. She also said that Chloe is a hateful she-devil, so seeing her bounce up and down in her seat with excitement is rather strange.
The teacher directs Adrien to sit in the bench right across the walkway from where Alya and I sit, and right below where Chloe and Sabrina sit, next to a boy named Nino. Adrien nods and quickly slides into his seat, carefully placing his black bag on his desk. I can't help staring at him a little, he's so handsome. I watch him for a little bit, then the teachers voice shakes me out of my trance.
"Alright kids, let's get started..." She steps up to the blackboard and starts drawing something with a piece of chalk, while continuing to drone on about some war. I pull out my notebook and a pen, and halfheartedly start taking notes. After about 3 minutes, I notice Alya out of the corner of my eye. She's staring at Adrien too. Wait... I glance at her the follow her line of sight. She's not looking at Adrien, she's lookin at Nino! Eh, to each their own, I guess.
Nino adjusts his green glasses and turns to Adrien. His lips start moving, but I can't make out what he's saying. Then Adrien turns to look at us and gives us a small wave and a smile. Crap. Nino must've said something like, "Dude, those weird chicks are staring at you." I wave back sheepishly and turn away. Alya turns back to the teacher, and I notice a red tinge in her dark cheeks. I can feel the blood rushing to my own face as well. Great, now Adrien's going to think I'm another one of his weird obsessive fans.

I muster up the courage to stop Adrien in the hall as he's leaving class. "H-Hey, about what happened earlier, I..." I mumble my apology in broken French, not looking at his face. He puts a finger to his lips with a smile, signaling that he understands. "It's no big deal, it happens all the time." He answers, in perfect English, American accent and all.
"You speak English?" I say, half excited and half surprised. He nods in reply and grins at my shocked expression.
"Yeah, Father and I lived in New York for a year when I was 7, so I sort of picked it up. Well, that and Father got me an English tutor basically as soon as I was able to form coherent sentences in French." We giggle and I notice how he smiles with his eyes when he laughs.
"That's so cool! It's really refreshing to be able to talk to someone in English without having to explain myself in French halfway through a sentence. I'm a transfer student from America, by the way. That's why my French is so bad."
He chuckles again. "Oh really? How are you doing here so far? Are you enjoying The City of Love?"
"I'm doing fine, the girl I traded places with has a fantastic room, there's all this..." I catch myself, remembering that he probably only asked out of politeness, and most likely doesn't really want to hear me go off on a tangent. "... I thought it was actually called The City of Light?"
He winks mischeiviously. "Maybe it can be both." My breath catches in my throat and my cheeks are starting to feel red again. Is he flirting with me? Before I can think of how to reply, he looks down at his watch and runs his hands through his hair exasperatedly. "Aw man, I'm gonna be late for my next class, I've gotta go. Uh, what's your name again?"
"Cameryn." I say back quickly.
He grins. "Well, I'm Adrien. See you around, Cameryn." He gives me one last little wave and quickly takes off in the direction of his next class.
Alya appears behind me, a smirk on her lips. "You totally like him, girl."
"I don't like him that much, I just think he's kinda cute... And hey..." I turn to her suspiciously. "What were you doing staying back in class? Talking to Nino, perhaps?"
Alya remains unaffected. "Yeah, I was inviting him to your party. You don't know a lot of people here besides me so I thought you'd like to meet him." She smiles sweetly.
"Dang it, that was really nice of you... Okay but you were still staring at him earlier."
"Well you were staring at Adrien!"
"... Touche."

Yes! The new guy is cute. He's so cute. No, he's way more than cute, he's hot. I'm not kidding, he's literally a model. He has blonde hair and green eyes and omg I think he even flirted with me. Can you believe it?? I said "I thought it was called The City of Light", cause he called it the city of love, and HE WINKED AT ME, and said "Maybe it can be both."
That's totally flirting, right? Tell me that's not flirting, I dare you. Actually, don't, I want to fantasize about it undisturbed lol. Also, he's really nice, which I didn't expect from someone as famous as him. Oh, and he said he'd "see me around", so that means I'll be seeing him again! Isn't that great? :D Btw I'd send you a picture of him (there's tons on Google if you really wanna see what he looks like) but I don't want you to get jealous :)
Almost forgot, I'm having a party tonight to celebrate my first week in France! Drats, I didn't think to invite him... :/ Oh well, like he said, I'll be seeing him again *screaming*
Anyway, I really gotta start setting up for the party now, it's in 2 hours! Au revoire!
To, Carrie
Love, Cameryn
