I ask myself "why" a lot. Why did I eat an entire pint of B&J right before bed? Why am I reading Fullmetal Alchemist at 4 in the morning when I have a test in 5 hours? Why do I watch scary things right before bed, feel the need to read Fullmetal Alchemist so my nightmares are slightly less terrifying (even though chimeras are living nightmares), and stay up until 4 in the morning? Why did I start writing a shitty series about my life that literally no one will read? Though, I am lucky 'no one' includes my parents, they would have a field day making fun of me because of this (we have an interesting family dynamic).
But one of the things I ask myself is- WHEN THE FUCK DO I USE '' INSTEAD OF "" . Previously in this episode I put "why" instead of 'why', and 'no one' instead of "no one". I have no clue why I did that, and honestly, I really can't tell the difference between the two. I took two classes on writing, Comp I and II, and got a 36 on the ACT English, yet somehow I can't retain any memory of basic punctuation rules or remember if "" are quotes or double quotes, and if so are '' quotes? The only thing I know is that if something's an actual quote, put it in "". Reading this, you might think, "what a dumbass, she could google it." Well, I have two things to say about that: one, I'm too lazy for that, and two, I'm now wondering if I should have used a semicolon back there.
Welcome to my mind.
