Travis doesn't have the best relationship with his mother, Liana, so talking about personal problems is sort of and issue because he doesn't know how she'll react. In this case, this would be an example. He see his sister, Cleo and his aunt Shelia as more of a mother figure then Liana. Of course, they do love each other and would do anything for each other, but sometimes he feels she resents him for reasons of her own.

Travis Fallow is one of the few openly gay students at XX High School who is constantly bullied by other students, mainly the sports jocks, especially after his attempted suicide. Some take pity on him while others mock him for what tried to do. Things don’t seem to get better that is until the new kid, Jason comes along and changes everything. Although they get off on the wrong foot at first, things seem to grow brighter for Travis with each moment he spends with Jason. However, things get complicated when the captain of the football team and Travis’s former best friend, Dante, reveals that he has feelings for him.
