~ It's best to avoid encountering or eating insects, as many can hurt or poison you. Scorpions, for example, should be avoided at all costs, as they will use their stingers to attack you if you go near them.

~ Even though some insects are dangerous, there are some that you can eat. These insects include beetles, butterflies, moths, grasshoppers, crickets, worms and ants.

~ If you find a river, lake or pond inhabited by fish, it can be a very good food source. However, you won't have time to pull out a fishing rod and spend a few hours fishing, especially with the danger of zombies around every corner. It's most likely that you'll have to do it the old-fashioned way; with a spear. It will take a lot of practice to master this fishing method, as fish are very agile and can move unexpectedly, but once you do, it will be a very good survival resource.
