I layed down for a couple of hours then I heard a soft knock on the door. Then It opened a tall man in guards uniform stood in the doorway. He had brown eyes that you could get lost in. his hair was dark as a moonless night. It was messy and slightly curled too. "Um sorry to bother you miss." His voice was gentle and smooth. I felt my face get hot "Wow." "You didn't." He smiled "Good. Um may I come in?" he asked "Sure?" he came into the room completely. "I just wanted to check on you." He stared at me for a moment. He looked like he was gonna cry. "Thanks?" "Something's not right here. Who is this guy?" He pulled himself together. "Sorry you just... nevermind. So how you feeling?" "Um Little better." "Great. Um Is there anything I can do?" "Naw I'm okay. Thanks anyways." "No problem. Um if you need anything I'll be out here." "Okay." He walked to the door "Wait." he turned back to me "Yes?" "Who are you?" he had a blank expression for a moment. "Oh sorry." he laughed at himself "Names Ezra." "Im Rose." "Rose huh lovely name for a lovely girl." I felt my face get hot again. He chuckled "You sure you're not too hot?" "Yeah I'm okay." "I need to calm down." He sat next to me "Oh really?" He smiled playfully "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!" He put his hand on my forehead. He smiled "Wow you do how the hots for me don't ya." He chuckled. His face got closer to mine. My face got even redder. "Ezra!! Get away from her!" Mai yelled at him. He smiled "Damn it got caught." He blushed "We'll continue this later" He winked and walked out "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!" "Hey Rose are you okay?" "I'm fine." "Oh really because you're face is telling a different story." *fans face* "If he stayed you would have gotten overheated." She got a wet towel and put it on my forehead "So the elders want to see you when you get better." "huh why would they want to talk to me?" "Well you're the newcomer in town." "Yeah." "Okay well I brought you some soup. I'm going to let you get some real rest. If you need anything I'll be out there, okay?" "Okay." She walked out of the room. I stared at the soup "why are they being this nice to me? And why do the elders want to talk to me?" I ate my soup and laid down "I'll find out tomorrow I guess." I slowly fell asleep.

Outside of the room....

"Mai I said sorry! I didn't mean to raise her fever!" Ezra said "Why were you going to kiss her!?" Mai asked angrily. He stayed quiet for a moment, and put his head down "She...she looks so much like... like her." Mai calmed down. "I- I'm sorry. But you got to remember she's-" He cut her off "I- I know." Mai put her hand on his shoulder "Ezra go to bed. You need rest." "I'll be okay. I'm going to stay guard for a bit." Mai sighed "Okay. good night." Mai went to her room." Ezra sat down on the couch. "Could it really be her?" He took a deep breath and kept an eye on the door.
