I smiled at Aliya and sat on my bed waiting to hear all about the party. "What's wrong? Mari you look like you were crying." Was the first thing she asked me instead catching me totally off guard. "I was watching a sad movie before you came." I laughed a little and pat the space beside me for her to sit down. She gave me a small okay sort of node and sat beside me going on about all the stuff that happened. "I saw the coolest Lady bug dress as the ball but that's not all that happened!" She took her phone out and swiped through some photos and stopped on the one of her and the prince posing for a selfie at the ball. "How cool is that!" My face turned red when I looked at the photo and thought back to how he had kissed me so suddenly. I quickly shook my head and cleared my thoughts of him and pretend to act surprised. "Omg Alyia that's so cool! I can't believe you got a photo with the Prince!" I said getting a happy look from her. Suddenly her phone went off again she looked up set. "Crap my mom want's me to come home tonight. Sorry Mari next time we can have a sleep over then." I smiled and nodded agreeing with her. "Well I'll walk you out then." I put on some shoes and walked her outside and around the corner to where her mom was waiting for her with her father and younger siblings. I said my good byes and started to walk back to the bakery to head to bed.
