many many years ago, a goddess fell in love with a mortal. She and the mortal spent time together before their feelings became mutual. The goddess loved the mortal so much she had his children, and loved them deeply. But once her father found out he was enraged that his daughter married a mere mortal and had his children. He swore to her he'd kill her husband and all of the children she had. she did her best to keep them all safe and hidden but to no avail they were found and attacked. The only one who managed to survive the attack was the youngest son. The goddess told him that she would hide him away and he'd be in a deep slumber. he'd awaken by a man named Delmar and he would have the powers of a full god so they could work together to kill his grandfather. She worked on putting as much power as she possibly could into an orb before eventually giving it to a baby boy.
