May I suggest, for the New Year, we all make a resolution to be a better friend to the mothers in our lives?
Alright, maybe you can't commit to watching her kids for two hours while she takes a nap. I get it. We all have our own lives and no time.
But maybe we could be better listeners? Maybe we could be more sympathetic? Maybe we could stop insisting that she will "miss this someday"?? You wanna know what I miss RIGHT NOW? Not "someday" but THIS day??
