The image changes again and this time, the amulet puts me into the position of wearer, meaning it was still alive during this time. I don't understand what's being said, but I do know that magic is flowing through both the body wearing the amulet and mine. If I weren't already laying on my back, the magic would have forced me into that position. The five figures around me are dressed in full body black cloaks, and I can't see their faces. I look around in a panic, as I realize I am chained to a flat rock somewhere in the middle of the woods, and I know that even if I scream, we are far enough from a village that no one will hear me. I struggle against the chains and I can hear the one standing at my head stop chanting to cackle, and then start back up. I still can't understand them, meaning the wearer doesn't understand them either. As the hooded figures continue to chant, my body starts spasming, while in reality my body is motionless with the four brothers sleeping peacefully around me, unaware of the hell I have fallen into.
My body starts tearing itself apart, as all of my muscles flex at the same time. Their magic keeps me conscious even though my body is no longer alive. They infuse me into the amulet and I finally realize that I am living through the creation of the blood stone. I listen as even after I'm infused with the bloodstone the cloaked figures continue chanting, imbuing me with magical awareness and abilities. I lose my capacity for emotion and thought and just exist. The figures dig me out of the shredded corpse with smiles on their faces. They sell me in the market at a nearby village and I connect with that person. I learn all that they know, my muscles recreate themselves to be able to carry out the ranching the woman who bought me does. I can feel myself cry as the only indication of the excruciating pain I go through as my muscles follow the orders of the magic in the amulet. I spend the next week in reality, immersed in the memories of the amulet. I live through Millennia's before I reach my mother once more. I live through her life and see myself for a bit as a child. I watch myself grow up, and the villagers, and nearby forest creatures, threaten my parents when I'm born. I learned to see auras at one point, and my aura is calm, even when I'm crying. My magic, however, is like a water balloon with multiple whirl pools inside of various sizes and directions, always on the verge of exploding. When I turn ten, it finally explodes and my parents become aware that my powers will earn me a death sentence, but I cannot die by normal means, and will basically just suffer a lifetime of torture. I watch as they bring me to this cave, carve out my heart in my sleep and then leave the next day. I live through mother's life and learn anything she has to teach me that I don't know already, before moving on to father as he tries to sell me. Then the prince, and I go through another five hundred years, being passed from person to person as the kingdom deteriorates.
I see four little boys running through the room, from one door to the next. The eldest is no more than seven years old and I recognize them as the princes in my cave. “Ryuu, Kalan, Khidell and Kuro!” calls out a nurse maid. They giggle and run by the case I’m placed in. The youngest sees me and hides behind my case while the nurse maid chases after the others. After he makes sure the room is empty, he pulls over an old chair and stands on it to look in the case. He looks at me with such wonder and innocence in his eyes that it takes my breath away. How long has it been since I've seen such a thing? He smiles at me, opens the case, and pulls out the amulet. His childish hands are surprisingly clean and gentle, compared to the other hands I've passed through. He closes the case and sits down on the chair holding the amulet in his hands. His aura is a light wave around him, proving just how happy he is, and his magic is steady, he can't be more than three, and yet he already has full control of his magic. Just then we can hear footprints coming back this way. His face snaps up and he looks towards the doors on the left. He giggles when he hears the nurse maid still chasing his brothers, and he puts the amulet on and hides it beneath his shirt. Kuro keeps me with him for a few years, before he teaches me anything new. He opens the drawer that the amulet is in and pulls it out. He looks so sad, he is about ten, now. He puts on the amulet and cradles it to his chest. He goes and sits on the bed. He lays on his back and I can feel his sadness. I can feel the amulet absorb his sadness and flow into me. Kuro bolts upright and looks down at the amulet. In his eyes, I can see the red in the amulet swirl just a bit. He clutches the stone to his heart. I learn how to feel again. Over the next few years, every time Kuro experiences a strong emotion, he shares it with me, and learns to better control his power that way while also allowing the blood stone to feel again, reactivating its dormant power of judgement. The main purpose those witches (I later learned) had for the bloodstone was to find the beings with their lineage and share this knowledge, but over the years the bloodstone never found that person, and decided it shall give the knowledge to a being that will be able to handle that much pain and power.
