I walked down the street and made my way to a bakery and found the girl who wore the ribbons. "It's you...?" I said scaring her on accident. "Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." I chuckled and walked closer so she could see me better now i the dark. "It's me Chat." She seemed to smile right away when she finally figured out who I was. I had to squint to see her in the dark since on her street none of the street lamps worked any more. Even though I could just barley make out that her eyes were red and puffy and she had been crying. I looked to the side and sighed thinking to my self. 'She must know about the kiss...crap this all my fault.' I knew I had to fix things with her but there was also part of me that was hoping she didn't know about the kiss with me and it was for a different reason or that my eyes were playing tricks on me and she was just really tired. I didn't know how I could fix it so I just hugged her tightly as it started to snow and whispered under my breath. "I'm sorry if I hurt you...." I couldn't even give her a proper apologize because I never learned her name. I guess she thought the same thing cause she hugged me back and smiled resting her head on my shoulder and whispered in my ear. "My name...its Marinette." I smiled hearing her name.
She Suddenly broke the hug and looked up at me with happy and hopeful eyes now. "What are you doing out so late Chat?" I chuckled and scratched the back of my head awkwardly. "Actually I came to see you but your right it is really late so maybe I should be heading home instead." I turned to make a quick escape but she grabbed my hand tightly stopping me in my tracks. "Why don't you sleep over! My parents won't find out and its to dark and cold for you to walk home now. Plus your not dressed for the weather at all. It'll just be two friends having a sleep over! Come on!!!" Before I could say anything she had all ready dragged me inside and upstairs to her room.
