The Musical Jolly Chimp was created by a Japanese manufacturing company sometime in the early 50's, and it (bizarrely) gained popularity in the west around the late 60's and 70's, and I lost several years of my life for having to google and draw one of them and their terrible, freakish, soul-boring eyes.
