Midnight pov.

I was messing with my collar watching the last of the sunset when I heard a stick snap.  I turned my head to see what was there and was caught in hazel eyes that were full of wonder.  Not knowing what to do I quickly lowered my hands from my collar and looked around for an escape root.  He cautiously walked out from where he was standing with his hands up.

"Please don't run away," he asked," but who are you?"

I looked back at him not sure how to reply. He was tall with short dirty blonde hair that fell over his eyes a little bit.

" I'm Midnight," I said not wanting to stay longer than I already had.

"I'm Issac," he said as he nodded and took a step forward and I growled softly at his action.

Multiple scenarios went through my head on whether to tell him or not and what would happen if I did.  I'll tell him there hasn't been anything to be done to me that hasn't been done already.

"I'm from British Columbia but I haven't been there in years. So I really don't know where I am," I told him.

He seemed a little confused at what I had just said but my time was running out.  Issac stared at me for a while until the watch hooked onto my collar went off saying it was almost midnight. I quickly turned and started walking into the forest when Issac yelled back at me.

"Wait!! Will I ever be able to see you again?"

I shook my head and ran into the forest, shifting into my snow leopard form once out of sight. The trees raced by me as I ran and ran trying to beat the clock.

The mansion soon came into view through the trees and I quickly shifted as I went inside. Safe, maybe I'll be able to sleep with no new injuries. Though it seems that I had spoken too soon. Once I got to my so called room, which is only a concrete block with small windows up high, master was waiting for me as I opened the door.

" Get in here and close the door."

I whimpered as he brought the whip up and rubbed it against my cheek.

"Answer me now, BITCH!!" He shouted and began dragging the knife along my cheek bone causing a red line to appear and blood started dripping down my cheek.

"Good so how many lashes should I give you because four is to little.  Oh, how about 20?  NO, that's still too small, how about 40.  Yep, that works." He smiled putting the knife on his belt and unclipping the whip.

"Oh don't forget to count and I need to be able to hear you too."

The whip went into the air and was slammed back down onto my back ripping my shirt and leaving gashes in it's spot.

"One," I whispered.

"I can't hear yo~~u." He put his boot on my new gashes.

"One!!!," I gasped in pain as he took his foot off my back.

He smiled," You've always been a good little whore for me."  Master brought the whip up again and again as I kept counting how many times he hit me.

~~~~~~~
When master finally stopped and left without a word, my back and sides were covered in new gashes some deep and thin with others wide and shallow.  That night I didn't get much sleep for I thought of a way to escape no matter how much it would hurt.
I jumped out the window. Now the drop wasn't extremely high but my room was on the second floor so it was still pretty high.  Pain shot through my back as I landed on all fours and collapsed on the ground. The sky was getting brighter as the sun started to come up. I had to be out of here before everyone woke up and with that in mind I got up and ran into the forest ignoring the pain from my back as I ran.
I finally reached my spot by the stream before I lied down on the bank drinking some of the water.  After a few minutes, I slowly submerged myself into the water letting out a small whimper in the process.
The sun was halfway above the horizon when I got out of the water and started running again through the forest.  Before I knew it I was following the sent that was still there when Issac had passed through the trees.
This is my first story so if it sucks sorry. The story takes place in Canada close to the boarder. Its about a girl who's only freedom was her job and every job/mission someone would die. Until one day she is spotted by a man just as the sun was setting. Now we don't know if when the sun goes down what will happen next but oh well. ;p
