Hey!
I totally forgot about this series until I was talking about it to myself while posting art, and I wanted to revive it!
I know in my last note that I was all serious and all, and that might've scared peeps off, but I really couldn't resist drawing humans again!
So pretty much what was happening with my art is that one of my friends has a lot more experience with studying art, and takes it a lot more seriously than I do.
So I felt really inferior in my abilities with both time-management and overall anatomy and portrayal of characters.
Then! What I thought would be the worse possible scenario happened; I got assigned my friend for an OC Design event that I joined. I was pretty intimidated, if I do say so myself, because I was designing an OC that this person, who I pretty much see as a superior despite being the same age, would need to make a story and have it be like
perfect.
This put me in another spiral of panic because y'know
this person is going to make a story for this character
The first thing I did is pick a name for this character, and base the character's design off of the name.
Their characters are based off elements, so I decided, "Hey! Let's go with Air or Water."
I then started putting a word in Google Translate, and then taking the translations I like and writing them down.
Then, when I picked out a name, I had no hecking clue what to do after that.
While I was thinking of something, an image popped up in my head; a lop-eared bunny girl in a rush.
P Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland inspired, if I do say so myself.
So I created this bunny-person based off of that image! I wanted to portray them as a very nervous and jumpy person, like a rabbit!
In the end, my friend liked the design, and I felt like my hard work payed off!
Hey.
This description was like
super edgy, but I decided I didn't want to scare off anyone, lol
So
This series is where I am going to be putting my finished artworks, and character references.
I am going to apologize, because I realized I forget to watermark a lot of my things, so I beg of you; don't steal my art, just because there's no watermark. ^^
(Although I don't think anyone is going to do that; I'm just going to put that out there now.)
With that said, this is probably going to be the more solemn of my two "portfolios", per se. My other one "Welcome to the jam", is DEFINITELY my joke one.
