There was a guy, who tried to die

'Cuz things were seeming grim

And when do you replace a bulb?

Why, when that bulb gets dim.

And so this guy, who's named was "Fly"

said "why I wish I could

Just die real fast, be in the past

Cuz life just aint been good."

The guy named fly, who tried to die,

Shot a bullet through his brain,

But kept on living even then,

And hardly felt the pain.

The guy named fly, who tried to die,

Jumped off a balcony,

but barely scratched upon the ground,

And lived, relatively.

That Fly, old guy, who tried to die,

He ate a poisonous bug,

But barely reacted to

The toxins that he chugged.

That dying fly, the crazy guy,

Drank bleach, got stabbed, and more

But nothing ever killed him, 

so he'd not live anymore.

That guy named fly said "Why oh why

Just can I not die?"

A high up guy up in the sky said

"Why would you want to die?"

And fly said "I just wish to die,

Since lifes been rather wry.

And I decry my time, so I

Would simply try to die!

"But somehow I, although i do try,

Can't seemed to ever die!"

The guy up high, he laughed and said,

"well fly, you are already dead!

Been dead for 30 years and so

Small wonder why you're so morose.

"It's time for you to move above,

And feel the warmth of calm, and love,

So come up fly, come here to me,

And live up here, relatively."

Fly looked high up at the sky,

And as a tear fell from his eye,

He said these words (I can't tell why)

And sang them in a note so high,

So loud and clear to clarify

The message Fly did then outcry:

"I'd rather die."
