Jackson chuckles awkwardly, I guess he forgot Veronica and I were not at a good point in our friendship. "Couldn't I ask the same?"
She giggles while modding her head, "Good point." She sighed while pulling off her backpack and searching though a few things, "My mom had a meeting and insisted I come to school too. So I got like three hours of sleep, no problem though. So why you here?"
"Well Max liv-" Jackson begins, but I quickly cover his mouth and intervene. "We were working on an assignment for Math," I force a fake smile, trying my best to make it as evil as physically possible.
She nods her head and makes the same nasty, evil smile, "Well, sounds fun. Anyway, here Jackson, it's nothing special, but I saw at the store and instantly thought of you. I got to go now," She says while changing her expression to a genuine smile and passing Jackson over a box wrapped in red wrapping paper with little white dogs scattered around on it.
That's her trademarked wrapping paper, she designed it in her Photoshop class our freshman year and only uses it for presents. She gets it professionally made and printed, but she's rich so it makes sense I guess. I think it's really sweet she goes through the process of making wrapping paper opposed to just buying it. She'd be a great mom one day, Troy is a lucky guy.
She picks up her bag, gives Jackson one last smile before running off to who knows where. "Open it!" I order after a few minutes of having Jackson watch her run down the halls.
"Oh right!" He shouts while carefully ripping the tape off of the paper, trying his best to not rip the paper - he sort of creepily collects all the wrapping paper he gets from her. "Oh, awesome a new mug!"
He also collects mugs, having it fueled by his constant need for coffee. He is addicted to the stuff, though personally I think tea is much, much better. Coffee is is either too butter or too sweet, there is no winning with coffee. Its just gross.
He lifted the mug to show me, "It's a football, she knows me so well," He says with a smile that shows just how much of a lovesick fool he actually is. Its too bad that the chances of Veronica and Troy breaking up anny time soon are very slim.
"She sure does," I nod my head with a sigh.
"So why does she have to be with him?" He growls, anger consuming him once again as he thinks about Troy.
"Calm down there, tiger, think positively. She got you a mug."
He smiles and nods his head, "A mug..." He swoons while hugging it close to his chest like its his first born child. Sometimes he freaks me out with his mood swings.
