Anyway, with regards to "Time", in my own experience, having depression feels like time is constantly running off and you're stuck in the same spot. You become forgetful, and having relationships with other people are put off because you're scared of "leaving" your comfort zone. For me, and as well as for Emily, this comfort zone is our homes, specifically for me, it was my room. I rarely left my room unless I needed to. I had issues of isolating myself and staying like this because it was comfortable. so this episode is based off of how depression can feel like this :v
