"The GRAW league is the biggest sport on the planet and you are saying you own the Hemrean league?" Kiber asked as he began to understand the magnitude of his new employers wealth. Billions of people watched the league, both at the stadiums and on the Neura-Net. With that kind of money, he would easily be able to hire a Nanomancer with plenty of change to spare. With the same wicked grin on his face, Mr. Kradres responded, "Oh no no no, nothing like that Kiber. I own a majority share in the entire league. Any match sanctioned under league rules and regulations, I get a cut from. All the advertising, ticket prices, Neura-Net fees and sanctioned betting. Tell me, what do you know about the league and GRAWs in general?"
Kiber was dumb struck, he could not help but stare at Mr. Kradres. That kind of wealth was just ludicrous and not the least bit scary. As they approached the massive stadium, Kiber found his voice," I admit, I don't know much about the GRAW league. I never really had any interest in it. What I do know is that the Genetically Reconstructed Animalistic Weapons were created during the Great War and that when it was over, those that were left out in the wasteland were forgotten. There due to the residual radiation they mutated the the ability to breed. The GRAW's are the main reason that few live outside the Mega City walls and why very few travel between them by land. I hear that trainers go out with hunters and capture young GRAWs, they then raise them to fight in the leagues."
As Kiber had explained what he knew, Mr. Kradres had begun nodding slowly. He had steered the car away from the traffic going into the stadium and headed for what was likely a private garage. "You seem to have your facts more or less right. "I can tell you have not been out beyond a Mega Cities walls before, there are more people living and traveling out there that you think. Your information about the GRAWs is right, if a little basic. Very few league fights end in the death of a GRAW, the various species all heal extremely quickly and are very tough. Also, your average GRAW trainer wont get his roster from the wild, most buy them from one breeder or another. The best of whom can be found in that cesspit of a Mega City, Bahnoh."
