For the first part of the guide on the Adventurers' Guilds we will talk about Tiers and Leagues; handling the first 2 Leagues - Copper and Brass
Ranking System:
After so many deaths of Adventurers has been reported dying on missions that were far too dangerous for their skills a new ranking system has been put in place, through many still use the old, more ‘risky’ jobs are required to be listed with more specific requirement and thus the better ‘detailed’ ranking of the Adventure Guilds.
Old Rankings
Rookies – Ranks 1-4
Novices – Rank 5-8
Intermediates – Rank 9-14
Experienced – Rank 15-20
Advanced – Ranks 21-30
Veterans – Ranks 30-35
There wasn't any effort put in to train or help develop the Adventure's during the Old Ranking System, but as the new ranking system is put in place many are upset as they aren't as free to move around, taking on jobs and missions as they once were - often even able to opt to take on requests at a slightly higher level then them, they risked their lives.
New Rankings
Tiers – tiers refers to specific Adventure qualities, such as fighting or other skills sets; these are not definite and an Adventurer can fall under multiple tiers. For example a healer can also be a melee fighter either ranged or close combat, it’s scarce to have a Mage from the Moon or Star Clans to use ‘combat’ magic though.
Tier 1 – Ranged Melee class (Example Archers)
Tier 2 – Close Quarters Melee Class (Example Sword Fighters)
Tier 3 – Attack Magic Class (Dawn or Dusk Clan’s-men – Mages)
Tier 4 – Healer/Premonition/Defense Magic Class (Moon Clan’s-men as well branch families of the Star Clan’s-men - Mages)
Tier 5 – Guides/Translators Class
Copper League (Rookies):
Rank 1 –Trainee – These Adventures must first undergo rigorous training, before they qualify to take on any jobs/missions outside of their registered village/town/city. This training is mandatory even under the old ranking system. (Training must be completed) – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 1
Rank 2 – Rookie – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 1
Rank 3 – Novice – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 1
Rank 4 – Intermediate – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 2
Rank 5 – Advanced – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 2
Brass League (Novices):
Rank 1 – Novice Trainee – Adventures must pass a bar ‘exam’ to enter the Brass League, they work in teams with a someone from Bronze League leading to guide and ‘train’ them evaluating them whether fit to proceed on their own on not. – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 2
Rank 2 – Novice – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 3
Rank 3 – Intermediate – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 3
Rank 4 – Advanced – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 3
Rank 5 – Experienced – Old ranking Equivalent Rank 4
