I’ve always enjoyed a good high school drama, no matter how cheesy or serious. One thing they rarely focus on is bad teachers. When stories do venture into that territory, the plot usually makes the authority figure a sexual predator, but there are also teachers who behave like bullies. I certainly had a few when growing up. I also had some wonderful teachers who changed my life for the better. It’s hard to say which kind Mr. Langdon here is just yet, but how he decides to handle Bryce’s question should tell us a lot. Who else spent much of the their school day dreaming of better times? I could never wait to go home.
