Adventure Guild Factions:
There are exactly 14 factions within the guild. One of which isn’t restricted, it’s the one and only ‘Faction” that remains neutral and it’s this faction that all the Adventures that were not selected to join the remaining 13 are allocated to , thus making it the largest Faction but not very ‘influential’.
Each Faction has a set of standards or regulation on how they operate within the Adventure Guild. Factions can procure jobs missions and freely assign their own members the work without them fulfilling to the Guild Rules that they can only accept that which is within their own Rank/League this is also due to the constant changes brought through the integration of the New system the Guild is trying to incorporate other than the renewed ranking systems.
The remaining 13 Factions are all named after the Astral Zodiac; obviously the 13th isn’t a Zodiac per say… So without further delay here are the 14 Factions!
Aquarius
Battle orientated company – takes on mostly bodyguard type jobs
Works a lot in teams, especially with Brass League Trainees as they a motto is to all for one and one for all, no one gets left behind.
Pisces
Exploration orientated – taking on mainly jobs where a guide, translator or tracker is required.
They aren’t the best of fighters so always put in requests for party members to help them when the mission poses some risks.
Aries
Battle orientated company – Their main focus is in extermination type jobs.
They are often requested to form parties with other Adventurers or to train new Entry Adventurers
Taurus
Exploration orientated – taking on mainly jobs where trackers, guarding valuables or VIP’s or hunting is required.
Though they are out to venture, they take on plenty of jobs where their majority of members can flaunt their strength
Gemini
Peacekeepers – Taking on negotiating, guiding, trekking or translating jobs.
They value rationality and knowledge.
Cancer
Peacekeepers – Taking on mainly Negotiating jobs as well as guarding duties
They work in teams, with strong defensive skills and insight; they don’t venture far instead are out to fulfil the community’s needs
Leo
Battle Orientated – Takes on plenty of peacekeeping type jobs from either Gemini or Cancer as well as extermination jobs.
They consist of strong observant fighters and all are naturally born leaders, though many have plenty of arrogance making them the last to turn to in regard.
Virgo
Battle Orientated – Takes on any missions where there’s a possibility for a fight.
They don’t rely on other much, rather they focus on themselves and the Company/Faction. A group that seeks out only the best, and the rest are but dust. If you can’t keep up to the quota of missions to be completed, they will be ask to leave the Faction; to join the Regulars. Some of the richest Adventures are part of this faction.
Libra
Peacekeepers – They take on negations, also forms as part of the administrative force in the Adventure Guild, thus in charge of evaluations, investigation into law/rule breakers or unexplainable or mysterious deaths of adventurers.
They are some of the strongest Adventurers, but rely on their witty smarts to keep order between the Leagues and Factions.
Scorpio
Infiltration Orientated – they take on the ‘dirty’ work, missions that call for silence.
These Adventurers keep to the strict rule that they do not speak about their missions, they don’t aquire their missions from the general ‘board’ rather directly from clients be it in secrecy or not, but they are forbidden from murdering or ‘stealing’.
Sagittarius
Battle Orientated – Hunting or guarding jobs
They are driven against and not just that but everyone in this faction has odd fighting styles, opting to fight with swords twice their size or just with a string of wool… They are specialists, and trouble just dissipates when the Sagittarius colors are seen.
Capricorn
Infiltration Orientated – Takes on scouting request and even training requests.
They focus on training guards to be more alert as they have some of the best stealth fighters as well as the most forceful powers in their faction.
Ophiuchus (Serpent)
It is unknown what these Guild members do, but its plainly clear never to challenge them as they believe in win or lose – live or die.
Who their members are rooted in mystery as well, only five people are known, at least to the administrators and leaders of the various Leagues and Factions – Ryker, Foster, Gerrard, Meryl and Averisa.
Regulars
These are adventurers that weren’t recruited into one of the other Factions. Though they receive most of their training from members in these factions.
Regulars must adhere to the rules of selecting their jobs/missions/work from the general board; taking note of old and new rank listings as well as League requirements.
Request are taken off the Board if procure by a Faction, thus often leaving Regulars with the lower paying jobs.
Regulars have it the hardest to advance through the ranks and in and between the Leagues.
