After star snaps out of her trance like state and realizes that marco could be in trouble, she rushes back to her bedroom to find that her entire room is in shambles and that the ceiling/roof has been blown off. She desperately searches for Marco and Janna. Janna seems to be missing. However, star finds marco completely unconscious with what appears to be burn marks on his cheeks. After spending a week in Mewni’s care facility with little to no improvement, it has come to star’s parents attention that marco needs to be sent home where he can be properly treated. After some resistance, star woefully agrees. Seeing marco in his current state of health, marco’s parents also recommend that star cut off all ties with marco for his own well being to prevent something like this from happening again…

4 years after that incident, star is now beginning her training to fulfill her mothers shoes in being queen of mewni, while marco is attending his first year of university. One day, as star is looking for her spell book, she happens to find one of marco’s hoodies, triggering her to reminisce all of the times her and marco were together. All of these thoughts cause star to go into a state of sorrow, causing star to attempt to use “the all seeing eye” only to find that it isn’t working. In a state of defeat however, her wand begins reacting…
