When I made this comic, I had actually come up with the plot in the Prologue a long ways into the strip. So, because of this, some strips are a little inconsistent with the plot. So to better explain #46, assume the doc actually meant they've been able to get deeper into his mind, but they can't get back rather than him going to sleep and waking up (since he's actually asleep the entire time).
The logic behind turning him temporarily into a kid would be trying to get the mind to revert back to a simpler phase in his life, before he had the memories that are "clogging" his mind up.
Like a Rock is about a man named Isaac Simon Blight and the unconscious adventures through his mind. Get ready to meet the different figments of his personality in this comical drama twist!
