Okay, punching a nine year old kid in the face wasn’t my wisest decision, but I thought she was, um, someone else. Yeah, someone else. Now, I’m being chased by a terrifying, freakishly tall blonde girl. I kick off my heels and run as fast as my short legs can carry me. This long dress isn’t helping me, either. Nobody else is wearing a dress like mine. I wonder how stupid I must look in this realm.
The scary girl chasing me is gaining on me, because of our obvious height difference. She has the obvious advantage. Just as she’s about to grab my shoulder, I summon Freeze Magic and keep her stuck in place. I try not to laugh at how dumb she looks. Her face is contorted into a look of angry confusion, and she’s stuck in mid-air. I didn't want to use it as she was chasing me, only because it's so hard to use.
“What the hell are you doing?!” she screams at me. I step back defensively, rolling my eyes. I examine her head to toe, making sure she wasn’t breaking free from the magic. I’m just making sure, since Freeze Magic isn’t my strong suit.
“Defending myself.” I inform her, talking talking to her as if she’s an idiot. “I understand your anger; it was ignorant of me to assume that kid was someone else.”
“Yeah, it was!” she barks. I hold up a finger, telling her to shut up.
“But, I am in a rush to get out of this town. If the people are as rude as you, I’d rather leave.” As I’m turning to leave, I see a girl with frizzy blonde hair with tired eyes walking up to us.
“What’s going on, here?” the girl mumbles, rubbing her eyes. Finally, the terrifying blonde breaks free from the magic and starts cussing and barking angrily about everything I’d done and attracts looks of disgust. I don’t judge them. I’m embarrassed to be involved in this situation. I close my eyes and wish that this situation would just disappear. But, nothing is just that simple.
Unless you can use disintegration magic. I can't.
