Although wuxia is traditionally a form of literature, its popularity has caused it to spread to diverse art forms such as Chinese opera, manhua, films, television series and video games. In a past life, I was weak. It was because I was weak, that everything I hold dear was torn away from me. It was because I was weak, that I wished to be strong.
Despite my frail constitution, I trained hard, read medical texts to enhance my strength, undergone many years studying techniques to effectively deal damage. With strength, perhaps things would have gone better.
However, no matter how many people I cut down, no matter how many I took revenge upon, that empty hole would never disappear. That empty hole only grows deeper.
Upon reaching the apex of power, I also reached divinity. And so I wished upon the gods.
Please, let me be reborn. Someone who will never let things be snatched away from them.
Only then did I succumb to my illness.
