Ah...World of Warcraft. I recently did a comic for this with Anne but this one is a little more directed toward what's been happening with the game. Talk about some changes.
World of Warcraft has seen some dramatic face lifts throughout its time. When it came out, EQ 2 dropped about 2 weeks earlier. I decided to go with EQ instead--mostly because I played the hell out of the first EverQuest. Loved it.
My buddies started playing too and we were into it...until the bugs dragged it to its knees. WoW came out about a month before my birthday so a friend bought it for me. It was pure magic.
I played the hell out of Vanilla WoW but it was not an easy game back then. It has become so over the years. Back then you had to theory craft your character quite a bit and gear wasn't as simple to figure out.
Now, the game is pretty much designed for casual play. The hard core players tear it up pretty well (though some of the raids are still tough as hell). Game is still pretty (little graphic update helped) and the fact they advanced the story in the original zones is cool.
I've enjoyed my brief revisit. I did miss the dish cloth cape.
i liked playing it untill Wrath of the Lich King, after that i compleetly lost intrest,... tried playing it again a couple of times since,.. but it`s just not the same game anymore
Society Case Files: One Shots visits the characters from my other series in their normal lives, hanging out at work, playing video games or catching films.
It's a light hearted view into the character's lives and what they enjoy when they're not saving the world.
