Ok first I am going to check you up you know to check your heart rate eyes ears and blood pressure etc.” she said and put this cold thing around her neck on my chest for a few seconds then my belly and then she told me to turn around and pull up my shirt. I did as I was told and she gasped but didn’t say anything and continued my ‘check you up’ whatever that was and told me to wait here.

Nori’s POV

I walked out the door to find Josh right outside of it pacing around. He sensed my presence and looked at me with hopeful eyes; he just made this a crap ton harder. I grabbed two chairs and said in a shaky tone “You are gonna need to sit down.” He immediately looked scared.

“She is very malnourished. It’s so bad that she should be dead. Her heartbeat is slow, and…”

“What is it?” by now he was shaking in fury

“Her body...t-there full of bruises and scars Josh.,” she said slowly.

“W-what? Who did this to her?!” He asked shaking with fury.

“I-i don’t know sir she won’t even say her name or how old she is.”

“Then how about a blood test?”

“.... Yes, that will have to do,” I started.

“I’ll ask her now Josh.”

“Okay,” he said in a low whisper.
