Yesterday I found out about "Wario Apparition"
Tonight, I drew a Nane personalization of it, called "Self Apparition"
(The walls and floor are based off of the top floor in Super Mario 64, my favorite spot of the castle since I was a little girl.
Another fact: This was one of my first videogames ever owned and beated on my own. Making Super Mario 64 one of my most favorite games for the Nintendo 64.)

Ladies and gentlemen: the Nane series has now returned after a month of inactivity!
There's a couple of suprises to be expected. Can't wait to show it to all of you!
Also; NEXT WEEK is the 1st Anniversary of the series!
(Each Nane Anniversary will be called "Naneversary")
Not only will you see a Sunday comic strip that day, but a couple of small things will be presented as a way to celebrate the first year of this series! (A whole year of Nane!)
Many years are to come for Nane and her friends, with many memories to be created, and tons of happiness to be spread WORLDWIDE!
Thank you all for all of your support since '19! I hope my children will bring even more smiles on everyone's faces now and in the future! God bless you all.
With love,
-Yours trully

Hello, everyone!
It has been a while since I last posted something in here- So I thought I'd share with you something about Nane & Friends.
This is an image of the scrapped Nane strip called "The three porridges"
This idea was inspired by Goldilocks and the three bears, one of the many fairy tales I grew up loving.
After giving the series a makeover- I abandoned this entire strip as a whole, "gathering dust" on my laptop.
'Couple months later, I decided to bring this strip back to life by giving it a remake. And so; that is how "Perfect Porridge" came to be!

After revisiting a piece of my childhood (My Little Pony g3.5- I re-watched the extended intro.); I had the idea to draw my characters as ponies. :) Enjoy!
Alrighty- here comes another "Old VS New" drawing, now featuring Buster!
Buster is heavily inspired by "Sneetch" from "Doraemon" (Heck- My art style is inspired by Doraemon overall.) and "Ace" from "The Powerpuff Girls"
(Sneetch = Face shape and hair, Ace = Chill-like personality.)
As I designed the boys, I wanted a leader-like character for the boy gang. One night, I listened to a funky song; and the idea for his design came to my mind. The next day is when he was made after I was practicing a new face shape called the "Fox-like" face shape. (That's how it's described at a wiki talking about Sneetch. Also- Ace from the Powerpuff girls Anime has a similar mouth shape.)
(Yes- he was designed the same month when Bella & Stella were being re-designed. Alongside with Kicks- whom I will show next time on "Old VS New"!)
Usually, he was meant to have a "Troublesome yet suave" personality, but scrapped the idea later on. Resulting the last hour for him to become just very laid back, and chill.
Buster is also a replacement for an old character named "Bert" that appeared in the old Nane pages before I re-made the whole series.

Alright! Time for another "Old VS New" drawing!
Up next: Snitch "Formely known as Enen"
Like Stella & Bella Snitch was created during my Super Mario Sunshine gameplay. (If I remember correctly... They were both made the same day.)
((NOTE: when I say "I made them during gameplay" ; I mean they came to mind while I goofed around playing videogames.))
Around this time; he was named "Enen" ("Nene" backwards, which in Spanish it means boy.)
Enen was supposed to be Nane's boyfriend, but when I started to re-design them and create the series, he is no longer with her- but with Bella, instead.

Hi, guys! So; last time I talked about Nane's "Old VS New" designs and backstory of how the character was made.
Next, comes Bella & Stella!
I created them when I was a child while I played videogames.(Around the "Gamecube" Era, as I would call it.)
When I created Bella in my imagination, I was playing Animal Crossing. While Stella was created: I played Super Mario Sunshine. As you can see in their old designs: They look very alike to Nane's old design. Reason being is that they were intended to be triplets. When I re-designed them (Two months ago); I wanted them to look less like Nane, and scrapped the old idea of their relative status. Turning them from sisters to best friends.

Hello, everyone!
As a thank you for supporting me and my children (my characters); I've decided to draw them in their old design VS their new (current) design. Facts will also be included!
First, we will start with Nane.
Nane is my very first creation, I've met her in my dreams when I was only a toddler. (Back in those days: I was a huge TV fan. Everyday I watched cartoons like "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast" or "Blues Clues" , "Kipper" , "Maisy" and so on.)
Since that night I dreamt of her, she never left my mind.
I still currently remember most of the dream.
Her name is "Nena" (Which means "Girl" in Spanish.) but the words are shifted. I thought of the name around the same time I saw her in a dream.
