The latest chapter is out for Embers of Hope! We dive a little more into who Mireya, Drogun, and the super duper adorable Nixi are. (I'd also LOVE LOVE LOVE to see some fan art of Nixi 😭 like seriously, please! 😂) Anyway, I also wanted to announce that the next case for Murder in the Rearview will be releasing tomorrow as well (the 4th). I know, bad time, but it's important to the case (kinda, not really though 🤔) Lol to end this off, have a look at my little kitten (male, btw. Very feisty 💀) named Grey, currently tuckered out from chewing on my hair 😅

Sorry for the lack of updates, everyone! I was a bit behind on the next case for MitR so I had to rush it in time for the Fourth of July (since *spoiler but not really* the case will occur during the 4th as well). I think it turned out pretty well so I hope you all enjoy it, though...this one does get pretty graphic since its our first murder case. Just...beware if you have a weak stomach I guess? 😂 If a novel can even bring out that emotion anyway? Lol updates will resume by the end of the upcoming week (maybe?) Fingers crossed anyway!
Aw man, I hate randomly dreaming up stories that I couldn't possibly give true justice to. I dreamt up a great idea for a short comic so if anyone would like to hear about it, let me know! It'd be a fun collab project maybe 😆

A little heads up, but for the foreseeable future, I've decided to focus on The Scarlet Thread exclusively for now. Not only is it the only one close to ending, but it's really the only one I feel like writing for (guess I just want it to be Christmas time again, this summer heat is atrocious 😖). So, uh...look forward to the next chapter tomorrow at the usual time! I hope you all enjoy meeting a new character too 😉
If you want to focus on this story, then you have my full support! Creativity comes from the heart, and if your heart wants to write a certain story, then that's what you should do. PS. I totally agree with you, summer heat is sooooo bad! All I want to do is cuddle up to my AC and nap.
I've got a huge question to ask everyone and I'd really appreciate some feedback. So, I'm sure you've all noticed I update as I finish a chapter. Kinda sucks not knowing when to check in, right? Well, I've been wondering if I should build a buffer or continue as I have been... I feel bad leaving this decision up to me when this journey depends as much on you guys as it does on me uploading. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Hi ok so yeah building a buffer would be good to do so you can rest whenever you have writers block, are tired, or simply are busy and uploading a chapter after you’ve made as many updates as you want is also good because you can keep the number of updates you do while it’s posted on Tapas to a minimum. Hope this helps!
I also think a buffer would be a good idea, that way you won't feel rushed to release something so quickly.
Just a little heads up for you Embers of Hope readers, but I think (since that'll be my next novel to update) that the next update will be a little special focusing on Larz, his home world, and what happened to him there, as well as introducing a BUNCH of new characters! And yes, that is a lot to work through, hence my need to make this announcement that it'll be a little while until I can release those! I hope you'll all be patient with me while I work through the details 👉👈 until then, sayonara 😎
