Hey folks! Welcome - I hope you enjoy my comic work!

A little about me: I'm a musical writer, a Let's Player, and a comic maker. I've written several full length musicals, I run a YouTube channel, and I post drawings, paintings and comics from time to time on tumblr. I'm very narrative driven - I try to incorporate stories into everything I do - and I hope you enjoy the tales I post on this site!

I want to thank each and every one of you so much for your amazing support so far! When I started drawing The Cat is Dead a little while back, I could never have expected the reaction it would get. I cannot wait to share more of the story with you in the months ahead.

Now that the first chapter is complete, I'm going to take a few weeks off to reset and plan for the future. There's some logistical work (maps of locations, character references, etc) that will need to happen before I dive into chapter 2, so I hope you all will hold with me. I'll try to start updates again no later than June 1st (and hopefully before then). I'll also be sure to share some of the process work, sketches, and WIPs with you all during that time.

Thank you everyone!! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter!

Chuck and Alden concepts - these two will be showing up on The Cat is Dead sooner rather than later, so I wanted to make a proper reference sheet for them.

Blondie has some really nice hair. How's he keep it up like that?

With fierce, voracious force of will. Also probably matte hair gel.

Thank you all so much for the feedback on The Cat is Dead's posting schedule! After reading your comments and thoughts, I think I've settled on a plan moving forward. I'll post three pages every Thursday from here on out. I'll be able to maintain that on a weekly basis, and that should be a better reading experience than simply posting one page at a time. Thanks everyone - and look forward to an update tomorrow!

Hey everyone! First of all, thank you all so much for your amazing response to both Dalmatiyen and The Cat is Dead so far! I never, ever expected this kind of feedback, and it has been a stunning and rather moving experience. I'm so thrilled to be sharing my work with you all!

SO! Down to logistics. Since there are a number of you all now, I thought it might be a good idea to get your feedback on how you would prefer to see updates for The Cat is Dead. There are a couple of different methods that I'm considering, and I would love to hear from you about what works best:

-Post each page individually | Updates several times a week
-Post weekly on a specified day
-Post in 4-page chucks | Updates when pages are complete
-Other

Let me know which you would prefer! Thank you all!

Weekly on a specific day, is what I would prefer. (Try not to procrastinate too much. xD)

I like to second Takayuki's idea.
Do a chunk say 3-4 pages long and release them on a schedule, say once a week (or whatever is reasonable for your drawing time). Then, say if you get ahead of schedule you have some buffer zone to work with.

Although, since we love you and your work, if you miss a week I am sure none of us would throw any hate.
<3 thanks Gina.

All together! It's a hassel when you have to re-read all the pages anyways because you forgot what was going on. I think the updates you're doing right now are great and flow well. I would not post individual pages, especially with a storybased comic ( It works better that way with the comedic ones)

I like the 4 chunk page idea since it gives me a bulk of reading material and I don't often have to re read older pages to remember what's happening again. Or weekly, having a set date and two pages together also help because then the wait between pages is shorter and I'm less likely to forget what I had read before. :)

Here's the first picture I ever drew of Dalmatiyen. I simplified his (and Dorian's) design in the comic, but this captures the look and feel I wanted to give him.
