[Chapter 28 is out!]
And we're back again! How ya doing? Hope you're taking care of yourself well! I'm happy to announce Chapter 28 of Pages Away is ready to read! And oh boy, it is an... interesting rollercoaster (っº-ºς) (well, when hasn't it been really...)
I'm actually a bit proud of the art this time! It has a few panels I'm still salty about, but many that turned out better than the sketch, so it's a win on my book!
By the way, I've been thinking of making a patreon (again, but we don't talk about that (ᴗ_ᴗ。)), mostly to share stuff like the chapter scripts! I usually write a lot of versions for one chapter, so maybe that would be cool to share! Still, I'm only thinking about it for now, so do let me know if you have any thoughts!

Honestly, I still can't believe it (⊙ˍ⊙) The idea of Pages Away started abruptly, I had always wanted to make a comic but kept pushing it away because "I don't know how to draw backgrounds", "I'll wait until I learn more anatomy", and lot more excuses. Until one day I just said "Ah whatever, if it goes wrong, it goes wrong,"
And here we are! I can't even begin to explain how happy it makes me that so many people like my comic! Your comments are always my favorite part of posting a new chapter, the reason to beat my procrastination and keep drawing (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
So thank you for being here, I hope we can share plenty more happy moments in the future!

Welcome back to another update◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜! Hope you're doing great wherever you are (and if you're going through summer like me, I hope the weather gets cooler soon (╥ᆺ╥；))
There's not much to say about the making of this chapter, just the usual "I have no idea what I'm doing but I'll keep going anyway".
If anything, the script was too long this time, so I had to cut one specific part, but chances are that I'll place it in the next chapter somehow.
(I really hate cutting out scenes ՞߹ - ߹՞... If I ever write a Pages Away book, expect at least 1000 pages, there are a lot of mostly useless scenes I didn't get the chance to draw lol)
Anyway, I'm excited to hear your thoughts and what you think will happen next! If all goes well, chapter 28 will be my next favorite part of the story hehe~

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, folks! I'm happy to announce the newest Chap is out and ready to read~ The production for this one was kinda fast, right? This year I want to try posting as many chapters as I can, we are slowly starting to unravel some mysteries after all (～￣▽￣)～
As for this illustration... Hehe, the story behind it is a bit funny: In the sketch phase, I thought it was a really cool idea, but slowly doubted it would work in the lineart phase, thought it was bland and not really interesting as I first thought. Then I started doing the mirror cracks and background and realized "Wait, it looks fine???" And the rest is history, trusting the process is actually real, guys ♪(´▽｀)

For this one, I was very inspired by the amazing artist Mika Pikazo (like, their art is so beautiful ಥ_ಥ)
For the next piece, I'll probably do something more simple tho, because this one took more time than I wanted ehe...

So here's my promise to you for the next year: I'll do my hardest to improve more and more! The road might be full of creative blocks and whatnot, but when has that stopped us? Let's take all of our challenges head on next year and keep on going together! And when you need to rest, count on me to (occasionally) bring you comfort (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Things were going a bit too smoothly for me with Chapter 25, so today I had a very bad creative block and kinda spent a few hours erasing and drawing the same panels over and over again lol. It's not a horrible block that will delay anything, just thinking that I could do better but not exactly sure how (。_。)
My tip for any artist/writer with a similar issue is: You probably won't solve the issue right away, you might come up with something another time, so just focus on doing a "good enough for now" solution and move on to the next part. You can always go back and improve it if you want!
