[Chapter 30 is out!]
Roll the drums! We're officially entering Act 3 with a (hopefully) great chapter! And what better way to celebrate this with a new cover?~
Now, honest time here... I was lowkey terrified that the 3rd cover wouldn't be as good as the 2nd one (╥﹏╥) For a very long time, the 2nd Act cover was like, my favorite illustration I ever made, so part of me was already expecting that I couldn't top that ever...
Welp.
Trust the process, am I right? Σ(°ロ°) (really do, because the sketch did not look as cool, it only started working out when I was doing the background lol)
I tried making it a good cover for both new readers and long time ones, as well as telling the story on its own. To be honest, I'm proud of this! And a special thanks to you too, because I wouldn't be so excited to make any of this if it weren't for your support!

It is I again, bringing awesome news for once! After a rather harsh few weeks, I'm happy to announce Chapter 30 is getting released this Saturday, May 23rd! We'll officially be starting Act 3 and the new cover art is looking rather stunning if I say so myself hehe~ What do you think is gonna happen in this new phase of the story? What are you most excited to see? 👀 (and will the slow burn finally burn???)
And to anyone interested, I'm releasing my patreon page the same day! It's full of things already: old illustrations, unfinished sketches, chapter scripts, and a lot random tips sprinkled everywhere! So if you want to help supporting me, maybe check it out when it's published!◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜

Ah, they grow so fast (╥ᆺ╥)... For this art piece, I wanted to try a different drawing process compared to the one I usually do, doing the sketch and coloring, then just rendering (almost) everything on one layer. Did it work? Uhhhh, debatable. Was it hard? Oh impossibly. Would I do it again? Probably yes, because it's hard but also a great way to learn shapes and whatnot (ദ്ദി ˙ᗜ˙)
Anyway, let's all enjoy a Ren day! Time to relax, take a deep breath, and do something you want to do the most today! Be it eating something tasty, taking a walk or spending time with people you love, treat yourself for working so hard all this time (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ˋ͈)
Stay hydrated always and I'll be seeing you probably sooner than you think hehehe~

And we're back again! How ya doing? Hope you're taking care of yourself well! I'm happy to announce Chapter 28 of Pages Away is ready to read! And oh boy, it is an... interesting rollercoaster (っº-ºς) (well, when hasn't it been really...)
I'm actually a bit proud of the art this time! It has a few panels I'm still salty about, but many that turned out better than the sketch, so it's a win on my book!
By the way, I've been thinking of making a patreon (again, but we don't talk about that (ᴗ_ᴗ。)), mostly to share stuff like the chapter scripts! I usually write a lot of versions for one chapter, so maybe that would be cool to share! Still, I'm only thinking about it for now, so do let me know if you have any thoughts!

Honestly, I still can't believe it (⊙ˍ⊙) The idea of Pages Away started abruptly, I had always wanted to make a comic but kept pushing it away because "I don't know how to draw backgrounds", "I'll wait until I learn more anatomy", and lot more excuses. Until one day I just said "Ah whatever, if it goes wrong, it goes wrong,"
And here we are! I can't even begin to explain how happy it makes me that so many people like my comic! Your comments are always my favorite part of posting a new chapter, the reason to beat my procrastination and keep drawing (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)
So thank you for being here, I hope we can share plenty more happy moments in the future!

Welcome back to another update◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜! Hope you're doing great wherever you are (and if you're going through summer like me, I hope the weather gets cooler soon (╥ᆺ╥；))
There's not much to say about the making of this chapter, just the usual "I have no idea what I'm doing but I'll keep going anyway".
If anything, the script was too long this time, so I had to cut one specific part, but chances are that I'll place it in the next chapter somehow.
(I really hate cutting out scenes ՞߹ - ߹՞... If I ever write a Pages Away book, expect at least 1000 pages, there are a lot of mostly useless scenes I didn't get the chance to draw lol)
Anyway, I'm excited to hear your thoughts and what you think will happen next! If all goes well, chapter 28 will be my next favorite part of the story hehe~
