[Gift Exchange pt4! 💝]
Merry Christmas guys! Chapter 25 is out and I hope you like it! (Perhaps not the most jolly chapter I could post on a day like this, but alas (⊙_⊙;))
I really want to thank you everyone for this year, you have no idea how happy it makes me to have your support! I can't even begin to describe how ecstatic I was when you guys helped sharing Pages Away to more people, you guys are the absolute best! ヾ(≧ ▽ ≦)ゝ
So here's my promise to you for the next year: I'll do my hardest to improve more and more! The road might be full of creative blocks and whatnot, but when has that stopped us? Let's take all of our challenges head on next year and keep on going together! And when you need to rest, count on me to (occasionally) bring you comfort (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
Once more, I thank you with all my heart for being with me and my comic this year, and I'll wait to see you in the next one too! Happy Holidays and may many good things happen to you from now on ❤

Heyyy! How you doing this week? Any snow where you guys live yet? (or are you like me suffering from hot weathers instead ಥ_ಥ)
Things were going a bit too smoothly for me with Chapter 25, so today I had a very bad creative block and kinda spent a few hours erasing and drawing the same panels over and over again lol. It's not a horrible block that will delay anything, just thinking that I could do better but not exactly sure how (。_。)
My tip for any artist/writer with a similar issue is: You probably won't solve the issue right away, you might come up with something another time, so just focus on doing a "good enough for now" solution and move on to the next part. You can always go back and improve it if you want!
Anyway, thanks for coming to my tedtalk, I'm here almost every week ~(￣▽￣)~

Heyooo! Here for another weekly update! Good news: I'm already halfway done with Chapter 25 💃 It's a long one and as December is a bit of a hectic month, I'm working hard to complete it in time. Seriously, if you told me last year that I could draw 3 to 4 panels in one day, I would say you're crazy 😭

Here's a fun fact that doesn't really matter to the story but it's cute nonetheless: Ren's homeroom teacher and the music club's teacher are engaged! The students can't really figure out how these two opposites got together, but it is a fun sight to see the music teacher flustered over his fiancée (/≧▽≦)/
So to anyone hoping for love, have this blessing that a love like this can find you soon! (o゜▽゜)o☆

Still, welcome to my current favorite arc of Pages Away! We'll be learning about a few new people and another side of Cedric (and hopefully Ren will get an emotional break ಥ_ಥ), so I'm super excited to show you all everything!

[Cedric's Little Haven]
Welcome to the drawing of the week! (which I'm trying very hard not to forget about (⊙_⊙;))
So here's a little story behind this art: recently I got to watch an orchestra for the first time! I've watched videos, but seeing the instruments being played live is so, so awesome! It definitely filled me with ideas for some certain future chapters, I'll work hard to try and express these feelings when the time comes 🎶
Also, I was meaning to use this as a wallpaper for my phone, but I ended up using the art from the comic's cover and got too attached to change it now ಥ_ಥ Well, one more wholesome Cedric art won't hurt anybody (and who knows when my boy is getting a comfort chapter again (。_。))
Aaaanyway, stay hydrated and go on walks, see you sometime soon~

Another 'guess the anime' kind of art hehe~ But this one should be easy, since Ren looks almost identical to one of the characters... And believe me, I only remembered I watched this anime a few weeks ago, but somehow Cedric and Ren are very similar to this duo (っ °Д °;)っ
But what can I say, this kind of dynamic is really cute!
And for an update on Chap 24's production, it's going rather smoothly, though I'm facing a bit of creative block in regards the art. Usually, in every chapter, I try to improve on one or more aspects of my artstyle (backgrounds, lighting, anatomy, etc), but I think I hit a wall this month and don't really know what to do to improve more o(TヘTo)
For now I'll just focus on getting the story and feelings right, but let me know if anyone has any ideas! And if I figure something out, I'll share it too 💪

Can you tell that Dante is my favorite supporting character?🥺 Though, in all fairness, I usually get attached to most background characters I make, almost everyone gets a story that might not even be important to the plot, but I do it anyway（；´д｀）ゞ
Rambling aside, good news! I'm already drawing Chapter 24! There's still some small adjustments to make to the script, but the rough storyboard is done so it shooould be a smooth ride this month! But don't worry, if anything happens I'll keep you guys informed 👍
