I opened a topic on the forums one of tease days called "Is something wrong with my DAMN KAREN?" trying to discuss why the hell this series is so unpopular in Tapastic (it does ok in facebook but not here). I got some very great feed back, but I also want to ask to you guys who already were subscribers your two cents on the subject.
Why you guys read Damn Karen? Its just because the art or you like the story too? There is something particular that bothers you?

I wouldn't know about the unpopularity, or else my own comic would be more popular. :oP
There are a few reasons why I like Damn Karen:
- The characters are all charismatic, funny and well thought out, specially the borderline retard/cunning Karen herself.
- You managed to find a good balance: althought the story arc demands a continuity from page to page, each page is a funny joke or insight in itself. This is not easy to do.
- The stories have a hint of fantastic on them. You know. You're at a funeral thinking about arcade, and ends up fighting with a psychic electric monster who lives at the cemetery, or a walk in the zoo with the professor's husband turn into a fight with ficticious dinosaurs and the angry mage wife and all... kinda reminds me of Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
- The colours are just a great work of art, I love the lighting. In kinda envy you on this one. :o)

Brand new reader here, but I really like your art! Tapastic is misterious this way... I had virtually no followers until around page 20, when a popular artist took notice of me and started making some noise! That was incredibly lucky (and kind!). The one thing I'd point out is that maybe here it would do better if it were more vertical, since most people read it on the phone. :) I'll be cheering on you from now on! :D
