Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates. I decided to take a break so I can reorganize what to do here and plan out for the future too.
Socially Happy will start again next week. Unlike before, the chapters will be more bit size, sort of like the story flow for comic strips.
I give more info on the status of my other comics later on. Even though I haven’t updated those comics in a while, I still work on them on my free time (mainly on story and character design).
I do plan to release a new comic soon, so I’ll make an announcement when that happens!
For this month, Socially Happy will be updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’ll be very busy during this month and I figured that this would be the best way to go, in order to keep the comic going and keep the quality good.
I also wanted to bring back “weekend artwork” (still working on the title xD), this is something that I used to do during the earlier life of this comic were I would post an illustration during the weekend. BUT, this time around, I want you guys to be involved with deciding what these illustrations should be.
I haven’t decided on how this will work yet, so I’ll be figuring things out for now. In the meantime, I'll just be posting some of the doodles that I made.
August is when the comic’s schedule will return to normal.
And I haven’t forgotten about my other comics!
Some update:
For this week and the next, Socially Happy will be updated on Tuesday and Thursday (it might happen for a third week too but I'll see).
The chapter for this comic will be concluding, but the next chapter will start shortly after. And I haven't forgotten about my other comics! They'll have their time soon!
There won't be an update this week. I decided to redo my upcoming pages because I was not happy with them. Here's an artwork I did of Alexis a couple of weeks ago.
This week, "Socially Happy" will not be updating its story, BUT there will be character info released instead!
It's been a while that I did those and since I've introduced a couple of new characters, I feel that its time to update their information and show their current design.
The comic will return to its regularly scheduled program next week.
To be brutally honest, i have contrasting feeling about those:
"NaOD" is just the kind of comic i'd recommend to my enemies, good enough to force you to keep reading it even though you know you are gonna feel miserable afterwards...
"Brainiacs" is very good... and dead! Not to mention its author went MIA for A WHOLE @#%&ING YEAR after literally saying "I'll be back soon", exactly what i always ask authors to NOT do...
Same thing for "Qloe", which is quite good despite it screaming "Umaru-chan rip-off!" all the way, except this one only got a few episode posted before it died and its author seems to have lost any interest in it, as well as in this whole site for good (seeing as they are still active on their Tumblr...)
