I'm afraid I have a sad announcement: You’re Doing It Wrong is on indefinite hiatus. I won’t say I’ll never finish it, but I’m not going to update it regularly, or even frequently, anymore. If/when I post new strips, it will only be as I feel like it. I honestly hate this decision and I’m sorry. But I know it’s for the best. I'm going to be sharing more details about this decision later on my Twitter & Tumblr accounts.
In short, I have realized that I do much better with short-form comics than a long-form ongoing webcomic like this one, so I’m going to be focusing on creating those from now on. It’s hard not to see this indefinite hiatus as “giving up,” but instead, I want to approach this as a new beginning. It doesn’t mean I’m going to stop creating… I’ll just be creating something different!
I appreciate all of you who have read You’re Doing It Wrong, and I hope you’ll stick with me in my new pursuits going forward.

Hey everyone! I don't have a comic today - as I mentioned in last week's update, it might be several weeks before I'm posting new comics again because I'm reworking some script/story things.
But I did want to pop in & let everyone know that I've got a special new comic planned for Ace Awareness week, which is next week! So stay tuned for that.
And thank you again for your patience and understanding with my wonky update schedule for You're Doing it Wrong. I'm hoping things will settle out where I can get back to regular weekly updates again in the next couple of months. But for now I'm just updating whenever I can!

Hi friends... I'm so sorry, but I don't have a new comic for this week. I tried really hard to get one done for yesterday, but unfortunately life got too crazy over the last week, & I wasn't able to finish it. I'm still working with no buffer, so I'm playing things by ear as far as updates go. But I can promise that I'll have an update for next week!
No new comic today, folks... I'm really sorry! I'm all out of buffer & need to take Labor Day to work on building it back up. But I will be back with a comic next Monday!
ANNOUNCEMENT
So… the comic is back (yay!) but unfortunately, I can’t promise regular updates for a while. I’ve had an unfortunate series of events happen recently in my personal life that are forcing me to put this comic on the back burner. I am super sad about this. But the last thing I want to do is give up on the comic completely… especially because this week’s strip begins a new arc that I’ve been really excited to share with you guys. So here’s what’s going to happen.
Instead of the usual weekly updates, I’m just going to update when I can. This won’t last forever—I plan to return to weekly updates once the issues in my personal life settle out—but I can’t promise when that will be. I don’t want to stop updating completely or go on an “indefinite hiatus” or anything like that. So this is my compromise.
I will continue to be active on Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook and share any news about comic updates. I hope you will all stick with me & with the comic through this rough patch. Thank you so much for reading, and for your patience and understanding. I hope I can return to regular weekly updates again soon.

Hey guys! I've decided to put You're Doing it Wrong on a short hiatus for the next few weeks to let me get through my brother's wedding and a few other IRL things that are eating all of my spare time. (We're at the end of an arc, so I figured this would be a good point for a break story-wise.) Updates will resume on May 8!

No new comic today... sorry, everyone! Between working extra hours at my day job during the week & going to NC Comicon over the weekend, I didn't have a chance to draw one. But I'll be back next Monday with a new update!
