Welp, I heard Tapas is gonna shut down soon. It's been a while, so I'd figure it's time to tell you all where I've been. Long story short, I got to move to a cooler place and joined a band but life also hit me like a train.
To elaborate, I've moved a lot since 2021 - 3 states, several apartments, and not a lot of free time to spare. Over that time, I made some friends, lost a family member, and I realize just how much my social anxiety has been controlling my life since Covid happened. It wasn't as bad before covid, but enduring a toxic relationship followed by a multi-yearslong social isolation in a new state was one of the worst things to happen to my mental health. I've been making moves to get out of my isolation spiral, like going to therapy, getting ADHD meds, and actually hanging out with friends, which has been helping, thankfully. I'm recovering, albeit slow, but recovering doesn't need a timeline, so I've been told.
Anyway, I wanna get back into making comics. There's just a problem: it's been so long since I've worked on The Middle that my idea for where I should take the story has changed multiple times. So, while I will be reuploading all of The Middle on ComicFury, The Middle itself won't be coming back with new content for a while, at least as a comic. I have plans to remake the old songs from EP 1 and 2 to compile into an album with other songs I've written, so I'll leave my youtube link down here along with my Comic Fury.
As for when I'll be back and active, I don't know yet. I'll let you guys know when I'm uploading on Comicfury assuming Tapas doesn't go under in the next week or so. In the meantime, here's my Youtube and Comic Fury links

Heyo everyone! I'm going to release the next chapter of In the Middle of the Ride in May, aiming somewhere between the 10-20th. I'm hoping to get at least 2 or 3 chapters out this year, so look forward to seeing If You're Listening more than once a year!
It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, a lot's happened. For one, I moved to a new state and I'm just about settled in. For another, I got stuck in a major burnout earlier this year and wasn't able to focus on any creative projects for a solid 5 months.
That was then, however. Now that I'm settled in, I'm about ready to get back to working on more regular comics. The Middle will return on 9/26 with Chapter 9. I'm so excited to continue with the story, as well as experiment with some other cool storylines as well!
Unrelated, who here watched Dungeon Meshi? I'm reading the manga now, Chilchuck is such a mood sometimes
