This frame is a hint of what's to come. It's still in progress but I've been working on it every day. You'll see what it actually is when it's ready. (btw, Jo and Amin can confirm that this thing actually does exist and is being worked on)
TL;DR - Big changes are coming. Just be patient. Tapas is ugly.
Just a heads up it's still going to be a bit because things like graduation, work, college, and so on are coming up. I just felt like it would have been a waste of all this hard work to just stop. I finally am happy with the way my art is starting to look and the details I can get with backgrounds now. What really put me off for ages was the way lines looked when I drew in Sketchbook 7 and the actual shapes of my characters. Now I use a combination of Firealpaca and Sketchbook 7 to get things done. Take "G3" and "Zoom" for example. The Lines and main object colors are done in Firealpaca and the more detailed backgrounds and colors are done in Sketchbook 7. I especially love the way the transparency is on the iMac because you can see the innards like the real thing. The characters still have room for improvement but overall they are still looking much better than any other characters I have made before. I also want to get back to work on making skits and other things for my YouTube channel as that was a lot of fun. The motivation is finally back and I am feeling much better. I don't know how long exactly it will take to push out new content but any progress is still closer to the end goal than just abandoning this place. I guess the best way to sum it up would be like playing with old PCs. It's not about the destination but more about the journey.
^^ glad you came back, (I've only just started getting used to tapas, i'll miss tapastic, is tapas ugly? hmm i'd say yes, but i think i have a huge bias) glad you're feeling better about your art too, hmu if you want any advice/critiques
Update: There is no more box furniture in my room. I am using a fishtank stand and my own TV again. in a few weeks we will mount it to the wall. I got a bed now. Still no sign of a desk for a while so I still can't do anything but watch tv on this computer.
These things take a while. I should know, my family's moved to different towns quite a bit over the years.... and I'm still not used to where I currently live even though in about a year and a half or so from now there's plans to move again.
Here is my friend. He didn't want me to share his account but I will anyways. Well, for anyone who stumbles here without the notification, that is. https://tapastic.com/colemuri
I'm going to try to make it my goal to update my Doodle Cache every day. It may just be ugly doodles but it's better than nothing. So if you want to see that kind of junk feel free to subscribe. Comics and "Art" will still be posted on Title Number 9.
So First off, sorry about kind of disappearing. I haven't felt like drawing lately. I haven't had much motivation...
Anyways, I was wondering how you guys would feel about me updating the older episodes of my comic, more specifically before I started doing full color, with them re-drawn with my current skills.
I would really like to know if you guys would like to see this because it would be decent practice and easier on me since I started school again.
If you like this idea PLEASE let me know. I don't want to waste time working on this if nobody cares. Thanks! :)
