Hello, all! Update time!
So, long story short, I'm going to be taking another break. This is a total bummer to me, but I know it's much needed. Recently I've hit a complete burnout, especially considering my art. You've probably been able to tell because of the radio silence and the dip in quality. ^ ^; Sorry about that! Lots of things are changing in my life, even more so than before, and I need to be putting more time into that. Hopefully it will lead me in a good direction and give me some much needed inspiration!
So, what does this mean? For now KYS is on hiatus, I'm not sure until when. Hopefully only a few months. I'll be honest with you, my inspiration for the story has been severely lacking despite how much I love the characters. I can't promise this will reach full completion, though I'm going to try my best. I can promise, however, that I have at least two other comics lined up that I am, admittedly, more driven to write. They are currently being plotted, designed, and written. It's not out of the realm of possibility that I would return to KYS at a later date, if for whatever reason I do decide to keep it on hiatus. However, none of this is final! No need for worry right now.
During this break I'm going to try to get back into drawing and really learn to enjoy it again. I'll be doing lots of character design and hopefully start uploading more on Instagram again. I'm also still considering starting a tumblr for Q&As and art, if anyone's interested? My novel Found Space will hopefully continue, as I'm finding it a nice way to alleviate some of my art burnout. All in all, I'm hoping this will take away some pressure and help me be more productive. I in no way want to ruin comics for myself, as it's something I care for dearly. Hopefully when I return I'll be better and more motivated than ever!

Hello, all! It's been awhile lol. I meant to upload last Saturday, but a storm knocked down a tree (and the power lines) in our backyard so we were without power. OTL Everything's good now, though, and KYS is back in business! As I said before the hiatus, the formatting is a bit different and I'm still experimenting with some line and color styles. So far I'm loving how it looks, even if there's definitely a learning curve. The schedule will also be a bit different, updating every /other/ Saturday instead of every week. This will only be temporary while I catch up a bit, hopefully normal updates will resume in a couple months.
Which leads me to another very, very exciting announcement! As I've noted before, I have many other projects I'm working on as well as KYS. One of those is finally ready to be put into motion: an online, illustrated novel that will be available to everyone for FREE. It's a story I hold dear to my heart and the first time I'll be sharing my writing online. My plan right now is to publish it on Wattpad and possibly tumblr. There's still a bit to work out, but I'm hoping to have it up and running with the first chapter by next Saturday!

Hello again, everyone! As I said in my last update, I just want to continue to touch base with all you wonderful people~
So, here's the long version lol. I have currently been going through lots of changes in my life (mostly good!). As such, I've had less time to draw and more stress, which has kind of killed my creative inspiration as far as my art goes. Not totally! Just enough to make me reevaluate how I want to continue with KYS to make sure it stays enjoyable for me.
For now, until the end of chapter 2, everything will stay the same. One page every Saturday. Once that finishes, I'll be taking a short hiatus (hopefully no longer than a month). This is for a multitude of reasons. Mostly being my health, as I've just started some new medication for migraines and need time to adjust. Another being my job search, and of course also just a much needed rest to recharge my creativity.
Now, what's the future of KYS? My plan for now is to somewhat change the format of the comic. I'm going to start making it a simpler, vertical/webtoon type layout, instead of single pages. This means the updates will be much lengthier, which is good! However, I've also decided to lower the amount I update to once a month, maybe twice. This may not be permanent, it will just give me some time to sort through my life as it is right now.
And that's it! Again, I want to thank everyone for your continued support and patience. KYS is so very important to me and I have many more comics planned for the future, so I don't want to ruin the experience by making it stressful. Here's to a long future of creating and sharing it all with you! <3

Just take your time okay. You have to focus on your life first and then you can have fun doing this comic. A happy/healthy author leads to a great result ^^. I like the idea of a lengthier update.
Hello, all! I've been addressing a lot in my life recently, about my future and the things I need (and don't need) to live happily. This has been both a blessing and a curse, as I've learned a lot over the past month about what I want my future to be. Unfortunately, it has also caused me stress and, subsequently, created some art block and lack in motivation. That's okay! Don't panic, KYS is most definitely not going anywhere. As of right now, the update schedule will also remain the same. However, I do have a few new things to share that are all pretty exciting.
First off, I've been writing a lot more recently. I've been an avid writer since I was a child, but I've decided that it's something I really want to cement in my life. Eventually I plan to publish some novels, but right now I have some even better news! I'm currently cooking up an original story I'm planning to release, chapter by chapter, on Wattpad (and maybe tumblr). It will be 100% free and the only piece of writing I've ever really actively shared online. I'll update you all as this progresses.
Secondly! I have created a Patreon page. It isn't up yet, but I spent a couple months working on it and getting everything all set up. Right now it's mainly focused on KYS, but with these new developments I'm considering altering it to include my writing as well. I'm mentioning this now, because I'm curious to know if anyone would want to/could contribute to a Patreon page? It would most likely be up and running sometime this summer.
