Leaving Tapastic
As of today, The New Yesterday will no longer be updating on Tapastic. A month from now I will remove the entire archive from the site and delete my account.
Without getting into it too much, I believe that Tapastic has a predatory relationship with the creators who use the website, and they do not have our best interests at heart.
I'll let @Iron_Spike explain a recent issue that has brought this to light:

My personal experience with Tapas has been neutral. I would spend a great deal (read: inordinate amount) of time formatting and scheduling updates, only to be buried under more popular comics. It feels like the site is just a popularity contest. Smaller comics rarely make it to the front page, and unless they fit into certain niches will never actually find an audience.
That said, I have found a small, dedicated readership here on Tapastic. The few of you who subscribe, comment, and keep up with the comic mean a lot to me - being able to hear your thoughts and words of encouragement really helped in the earliest days of the comic reboot and I'm truly grateful. I would be honoured if you continued to keep up with the comic outside of Tapastic, and here are a few simple ways to do that:
1. Follow and chat with me on twitter @jay_mack & @thenewyesterday
2. Bookmark thenewyesterday.com and check it out every monday for updates!
3. (And this is the big one) PLEASE consider donating to my Patreon!

The next month is going to be a little slower for TNY updates. I will be attending Pax East 2016 and as such won't be able to work as hard on my shit for a while. Sooooo - I'll be dropping down to a One-A-Week schedule for the rest of April. What this means for Tapastic readers, is that I will only be updating once more in April - Wednesday the 20th. The next update after that on Tapastic will be May 4th.
