My name is Judit Juhász, I am 35 years old and a university-educated engineer. Since 2023, I have been a member of the "Magyar Könyv is Magyar Termék Mozgalom" (Hungarian Book and Hungarian Product Movement), and starting in 2025, I will serve as one of the Movement's ambassadors.
I have been writing since I was 14 years old, primarily for my own entertainment, creating stories. Over the past two decades, I have explored many genres: adventure, sci-fi, romance, fantasy, and ancient historical fiction. My writing style began to stabilize over the last three years, following the birth of my daughter, when I wrote my novel Hová lett Eszter? (Where Did Eszter Go?) in the third month after her birth. This novel delves into sibling relationships.
The majority of my stories deal with abuses affecting women, whether they stem from romantic relationships, attacks or exploitation by strangers, or abuse from parents that originates in childhood and sometimes persists into adulthood. The remaining third of my published books focus on sibling relationships, particularly—in contrast to the stereotypes often pushed by the media—negative sibling dynamics (e.g., the novel A nap, amikor a feleségem megölte a bátyámat – The Day My Wife Killed My Brother).
In each of my novels, I place great emphasis on exploring femininity, portraying both healthy and coerced expressions of female sexuality, and describing both functional and abusive relationships. I believe this serves as a counterbalance to the distorted images often presented to young people through TV series, online videos, and other media.
To date, the following novels of mine have been completed and published by Helma Publishing:
Hová lett Eszter (Where Did Eszter Go?)
Rozmaringkulcs (Rosemary Key)
A nap, amikor a feleségem megölte a bátyámat (The Day My Wife Killed My Brother)
Ébredj! (Wake Up!)
Éjszaka a vöröslámpás negyedben (Night in the Red-Light District)
