SupportHello! I'm Kelsey, I'm 27 years old, and I make comics (shocking, I know). I'm married to my favorite person in the whole world, who you'll see in my comics just as much as you'll see me! I like to draw comics about my life, my cat, my husband, my silly job, and whatever else I feel like! If you like easy reading, goofy, slice-of-life comics with a touch of emotional vulnerability, you'll most likely enjoy my work! My big dream in life is to publish graphic novels, so I'm posting here to build up the habit of making comics regularly and practicing my skills. Thanks for being here, I hope you have fun!

Hey-o Tapas friends! If you haven't already noticed, I've marked my original comic series, KelseyRoseComics, as archived, and created a new comic series called "My Silly Little Life"! I'm very excited for this change, it's going to be very good!
I decided to do this because, as I noted a year and a half ago, my comics style has changed quite a bit! I've experimented endlessly with my style for drawing comics, and I've happily settled into the style in my new series. I'll probably be redrawing some of my old comics (or just revamping the idea entirely), but I'll keep my old comic up as a friendly reminder to myself of the hard work I've done to get here.

Hello! There are quite a few new subscribers, welcome you all to my comics about my life! Just general announcement, I’ll be slowly working on re-drawing my comics starting with the first one! I want my comic to be more cohesive, you can see that my style has changed DRASTICALLY since I uploaded my first post here! It’ll be slow, but I’ll put up an announcement when they’re up! Hey guys, I know it's been a really long time since I've posted anything, and I wanted to address that before posting another comic without saying anything. I live in America, and the situation here this past year has been terribly tragic and upsetting. Of course, there's the pandemic, which sucks for everyone. But when the Black Lives Matter movement became the forefront of everyone's news feeds and notifications, I chose to step back silently to allow for the space online for the voices of the oppressed to be heard. It felt strange to post as per usual, like I was asking for attention when I wanted it to be on what is truly important.
I am lucky. I am white, I have a stable job, a steady paycheck, and those who love me. I want to continue to post comics here, as it is a passion of mine, and I want to make comics about how I feel about the situation in this country, yet I feel like I don't have the right voice. I will always be speaking from a place of white privilege, even now, and I am acutely aware of that. I'm not sure how I want to proceed at this point, but making comics is a passion of mine, and I'd love to get back into posting them. They are an escape for my mind, it makes me feel less heavy inside. Maybe they can be an escape for you. The world is a dark place right now. I hope you are all doing well and staying safe.
