SupportHey! It’s Laura 'Average Girl' Romagnoli, a webtoon artist from Italy.
My works that you can read here on Tapas are "Average Adventures of an Average Girl" (my very first webcomic), and "Of Men and Magic" (a webtoon I've been working on since a long time)!
I'm also one of the co-founders of Slap Studio webtoons! You can read our creatios here on Tapas too, like "Crazy in Love with Yao-i"!
When I'm not drawing, you'll find me gardening, making beaded necklaces, cooking or travelling around the world.

Hi there, lovelies!
I'm here to share a couple things with you.
You may have heard the news about Tapas supposedly closing. I haven't received any official news directly from Tapas yet, so I don't know if it will happen or not, but this might be a good time to rembember you can still follow me on other platforms (IG,TT,Webtoon, you can find all my links here 👉 linktr.ee/average_girl 👈) if you'd like to keep up with my works...
especially now that OF MEN AND MAGIC SEASON TWO is about to be released!!!
That's right! Tomorrow S2E1 will be released on my Patreon in the Witch Apprentice tier (that will be discounted for a whole week 👉 patreon.com/average_girl_webcomic 👈) to be read early before its publish release 3 days later here on Tapas and Webtoon Canvas!
Thank you all for reading my comics here on Tapas.
I first started publishing here back in 2014 with Average Girl, and it caused such a big butterfly effect! Whatever happens, I'm sure we'll meet again 💖

Hey there, lovelies! Season 1 of Of Men and Magic just ended, but as I've anticipated, I'm already working on Season 2. To celebrate, all tiers on my Patreon are at 50% on the first month for those who sign up today with the code 2026CANVAS!
Season 2 arrives next September 2026: it's a good time to get in before it everyone else.
Thank you for joining me in this journey!

Hey there, lovelies!
My series Of Men and Magic's end of season 1 is coming up!
I update regularly, and I pour a lot of time into the worldbuilding, the character design, and getting the historical details just right (I'm a big "pignola!").
If you enjoy the comic and want to support it further, I recently opened a Patreon. There you'll find early access to new episodes, character studies, sketches, and behind-the-scenes and more, with different tiers depending on how deep you want to go.
That said, support isn't just about Patreon: sharing the comic, commenting, and just sticking around to read means a lot to mee, too! Thank you for being here.

BUT WAIT—what’s this?!
✨ A BOOK?! ✨
That’s right, my lovely readers!
This year is the 10th year anniversary (can you believe it?!) of Average Adventures of an Average Girl that started here, on Tapas, and I can’t think of a best way to celebrate it with a whole, new book!
I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for all your love and support over the years, you’re the reason we’ve reached this HUGE milestone—our first-ever Average Adventures of an Average Girl book in ENGLISH!
This book is my way of saying “thank you” for sticking with me, laughing with (and at) Average Girl, and being part of this average adventure we lived together.
Here’s to more adventures, more comics, and another 10 years of averageness! 💖
