Thank you for your patience these past several months. I wanted to share that my dog, who had been fighting kidney disease since February, sadly passed away on September 12. Losing her has been deeply painful, and I hope you’ll understand that I need some more time to process and heal before I can return to regular updates. I’ll be back with new chapters as soon as I can.

I wish to address my frequent and ongoing hiatuses from updating my web novel and offer an explanation to those of you who support my work. Over the past few years, I have found myself navigating a series of personal challenges that have greatly impacted my ability to write and maintain a consistent publishing schedule. While I do not typically like to share much about my private life online, I believe that you—my readers—deserve transparency about why updates have been sparse, and why this current hiatus must unfortunately be extended. Three years ago, my mother suffered a hip fracture that significantly reduced her mobility. Since then, I have assumed the role of her primary caregiver. This responsibility has grown more complex as she has struggled to manage her medications, particularly those related to diabetes. Ensuring her well-being has become a daily commitment that requires both time and emotional energy. In addition, I am also caring for my dog, who has lost most of her kidney function and now requires daily IV injections. Balancing this with the regular upkeep of my mother’s house and utilities has further stretched my capacity. These obligations, combined with the ever-present stress and anxiety brought on by the current political climate, have left me feeling overwhelmed and depressed. As a result, I find that my motivation and creative energy have waned. It pains me to leave you waiting for updates, especially with the influx of new subscribers to my web novel. I will return to my writing when I am able, but for the foreseeable future, I need to put my writing on hold and focus on my mental health. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this difficult period. I sincerely hope to resume regular updates in the future, once I can give my writing the attention and care it deserves.

Hey subscribers, I know I just came back from a hiatus a month ago, but I'm afraid I need to take another month's hiatus due to private reasons. So there won't be any new episodes until July. I apologize for the delay and hope to resolve my IRL distractions soon. I appreciate your patience.

Hey subscribers, this is just a heads-up that I won't be posting new episodes for a month or two. I had some episodes lined up this month, but I decided I wanted to change the story and removed them from the schedule. So Eidolon City will be on a hiatus for a while.

Hello subscribers, I just wanted to share an update on my writing.
I've had a very productive month. I took a break from my novel to write a novella set after the events of my novel. Switching projects got my creative juices flowing and helped restore my motivation, and I'm pumping out new material on a consistent weekly schedule. Once I finish the novella, which will probably be in a few weeks, I'll return to writing my novel.
As of right now, my web novel has 95 episodes published, and Episodes 96 through 111 are scheduled to be released every Friday and Saturday for the next couple of months. Episodes 1 through 111 coincide with Pages 1 through 400 of my manuscript, and I have an additional 57 manuscript pages written that I'll try to finish editing and scheduling on Tapas sometime in the next couple of months. I estimate the complete manuscript will probably be around 700 pages (roughly 200 Tapas episodes), which I hope to complete within the next year.

Eureka! After FIFTEEN MONTHS, I finally finished revising Episodes 1 through 55 (Chapter 1 through the first half of Chapter 9) for Eidolon City: Crossroads based on my writing coach's feedback! Now I can start publishing new episodes! I've received feedback from my writing coach for the second half of Chapter 9 up through Chapter 14, and I'm about to start writing the rough draft for Chapter 15. Once I start editing my current rough drafts, you most patient of subscribers will start receiving new episodes. Thank you everyone for your patience thus far. Expect Episode 56 soon!
