Your art and designs are so beautiful! ARGH why can't I be as creative/talented as you?! Also I was just wondering, how/when did you come up with the idea for this? (030)?
you can! it just takes time and practice and a lot of references >3<. I came up with this idea when I was getting upset working on a clients stories about 2 years ago. I am a fantasy artist but I felt that I didn't get much fantasy comics/stories to work on ( the fantasy that I liked anyway. like Spirited Away the Last Unicorn, Princess Mononoke ex~ ) I was rooming with my fiance' at the time I pitch him an idea of a demon infested mountain. He said the story was beautiful (piffff) and wanted me to write it out. He is a writer and taught me to write a script and how to lay out a short story. He is excellent when it comes to world building asking me tough questions that I had to fix and make work in the Demon Shrine world. After a poetical good 2 year contract fell through my fiance' said" I can pay for your loans for a few month why don't you start up your own webcomic full time and see how it does. So what story do you want to make first?" " I will make Demon Shrine." Thats how it all started :3
Woah! first of all, thank you for the response! it feels amazing to have an artist that you like reply to a comment! second, thanks for the support! school/ art class has been really stressing me out and its nice to hear that I can become as good as you, so thanks for the extra little boost! third, YOU LIKE STUDIO GIBLI MOVIES?!?! :D!!!! haha sorry I just really love the style of those movies so its cool to find someone else that likes them! finally fourth of all, I was pretty surprised by how open you are. I mean, not many people can open up like that and you just told me this amazing story in detail of how this all came to be! I don't know, I just thought it was pretty nice. Also your fiancé sound really sweat supporting you and all! Hope I can fins someone like that one day! (^V^)/ Thank you!! :)
You are most welcome!! :3 I am not shy when talking to people who share the same interests as me. Life as an artists and life in general is ruff but keep at it and you will be amazed at what you can do hun. Every artist in the world started from the beginning. What helped me in art class was not to get overwhelmed at the big picture because it was the little things that made up the big things. So I focused on the little things first. You got this!!
