A Mark That Lasts Forever was inspired by a blog I came across long ago and my own experiences living in Japan/Tokyo on and off since high school.

Hi everyone. The novel A Mark That Lasts Forever has officially come to an end. Thank you for reading to the very end. I appreciate all your support (your comments always make me smile ^^) and I hope you enjoyed Shun and Makoto's story. It ended up pretty long (around 600 pages), so really thank you for putting up with Makoto until the end lol
As for what to expect in the future, I'm working on getting the comic for AMTLF up on Tapas. It'll follow the same storyline, so if you're curious what kind of faces people make while Makoto is too absorbed in himself, or what Shun's outfits look like, it could be something to check out. The first 3 chapters will be posted in September. After that it'll be updated every 3 weeks since I can't draw fast enough to finish more than one chapter in a month ^^; Hopefully, I'll get faster and eventually be able to update more often!
I also have another novel in the making. I won't say much about it yet, but I will say that you can expect to be reunited with a few familiar characters. Since the comic is my top priority, I can't guarantee it'll be up anytime soon, but it's something to look forward to!
