SupportHi, I'm Tamago! Author and illustrator of A Mark That Lasts Forever novel and webcomic. Follow me on Instagram and Twitter to see more of my art🎨
A Mark That Lasts Forever was inspired by a blog I came across long ago and my own experiences living in Japan/Tokyo on and off since high school.
Thank you for visiting my page and I hope you enjoy getting to know Makoto, Shun, and all of my other characters!

Hi everyone,
As you may have heard, Tapas is being discontinued. I want to start by thanking every one of you for reading, subscribing, commenting, and supporting A Mark That Lasts Forever here! Tapas really helped my story reach many people over the years and I'm so sad it's ending.
I will continue to update my webcomic on a new platform, althought I haven't decided where yet. I want to try out a few different platforms before choosing a home that works well for the story and for all of you!
Once I've made a decision, I'll post an update on my Instagram (@amtlf_). So please follow me there so you can keep reading wherever it goes next ^^
I'll continue updating the comic here until Tapas closes. (Look forward to tomorrow's update!)
Thank you again for reading AMTLF and supporting me throughout the years!

[Announcement]
Hi everyone. The novel A Mark That Lasts Forever has officially come to an end. Thank you for reading to the very end. I appreciate all your support (your comments always make me smile ^^) and I hope you enjoyed Shun and Makoto's story. It ended up pretty long (around 600 pages), so really thank you for putting up with Makoto until the end lol
As for what to expect in the future, I'm working on getting the comic for AMTLF up on Tapas. It'll follow the same storyline, so if you're curious what kind of faces people make while Makoto is too absorbed in himself, or what Shun's outfits look like, it could be something to check out. The first 3 chapters will be posted in September. After that it'll be updated every 3 weeks since I can't draw fast enough to finish more than one chapter in a month ^^; Hopefully, I'll get faster and eventually be able to update more often!
I also have another novel in the making. I won't say much about it yet, but I will say that you can expect to be reunited with a few familiar characters. Since the comic is my top priority, I can't guarantee it'll be up anytime soon, but it's something to look forward to!
Thank you again for all your kind support and stay tuned for more content ^^
