I've been dying to ask about your inspiration for the Willamette Valley Dream Clinic is? Can you share?
Sure! It's from the Willamette Valley Dream Survey in Portland, Oregon (look it up if you haven't heard of it). c: Portland is my hometown, and I remember seeing the flyers for the survey and thinking they were so interesting! They became an urban legend around here, and I've always been interested in them, so eventually I started coming up with a story that's sort of based on them 😁
I had relatives in Portland, and saw those same posters when I visited them. That's exactly what I wondered about - I'm working on a novel based on those posters, but I went a completely different direction with it 👍
And it's really cool to see how the same inspiration can lead to such wildly different stories. I love your comic!
