Megami Shiizun started back in high school and has undergo a lot of changes throughout the years. This final copy is the result of progressive work.
I aim to upload a page bi-weekly.

Oh wow! I haven't stopped by in months. I'm sorry. To be honest, I have been on a hiatus on the comic, in favour of socializing with friends and family. But, I've noticed lately that although, it has kept the people around me VERY happy, I suffered in productivity. I don't feel like doing it anymore. It's too hard to sit and work. I want to, but it's hard. I got out of my habit.
I'll start slow, but I'll get back to it. I've cut numerous shows this year, in hopes to socialize more, but also to have more time with my art. Well, I socialized more. But, it's most mid year and I have not much to show for it.
I will be posting 2 new pages today. Thank you for those who are still around patiently waiting. I feel like if I post again on Tapas, it will help me get back into gear and be the productive beaver I usually am.
While you wait for more pages to be scheduled... here is a WIP of Chapter 9.

Sorry, I've been really bad at keeping up online. I haven't uploaded a page in forever. I'm still around and still creating the comic. Just finding the time to change the format to scroll is difficult. I'll upload again eventually, I just need to find time to do the extra work. The print version is always my top priority.

Yeah, I've noticed that myself as well. I can grab an issue and compare with the most recent and I see huge improvement. Thank you for the compliment :)

Megami Shiizun #8 was released on May 18th at Miracon. I will slowly upload pages and try to keep up with my regular schedule.
I'm booked for a number of in-person events still in 2024, as well and undertaking the massive task of translating the series into French. I hope to be able to release the French graphic novel of Megami Shiizun: le commencement sometime in 2025. Not a direct translation and with a mixture of French Canadian & French Acadian.
Why not. I'm French Acadian.

I'm always up to something creative. I just got the good news that the comic store downtown, will sell my French graphic novel once it's printed. They already sell the English issues, but don't sell French graphic novels. I'm glad they make an exception to local creators. It's going to be tougher to get these ones in store, but I have a list of place to poke when the time comes. I just happened to be dropping off #8 today, so I asked.

Chapter 8 is still in-progress and no pages are completed. Only 2.5 pages left to ink and then I can colour and finally attack the cover.

Thank you. I'm not totally living the dream I still have a full-time job that pays the bills, but has 0 association to art. I make it sound fancier than it is when I say I'm hitting 3 provinces in Canada. I'm just really well located in New Brunswick, all the travels are within 5 hour drive. But, I like the face to face events, it changes the routine and I get to interact with people. Although my friends keep laughing when I say I'm going to PEI in March. We got buried in a snowstorm last year when I did that event. lol
That's amazing! You stay safe and healthy. And keep enjoying these fantastic opportunities of getting out of normalcy! Luv ya!

Chapter 7 is fully scheduled for each Friday until Feb. 2nd. Now to focus creating Chapter 8.

I'm still alive! I have been neglecting Tapas for the past few months and I'm sorry. I hope that now that I did my final event of 2023, I can focus more on the comic (after I'm ready for the holidays). My next event is in March, so I'm going to have a bit of break to work on it.
I have a goal to schedule the remaining pages of Chapter 7 on Tapas by the end of the month. As it's going to be a long while before I can upload pages from Chapter 8. I'm doing it a very weird order.
