SupportAfter many years of writing down ideas and trying to craft stories out of them I was finally able to team up with the artist HannaPhilip to turn them into manga and share with... well, you, hopefully.
Oh, and I've been being called "Mako" since way before even the original Avatar show.

Wishing a merry Christmas to those who celebrate the holiday.
I don’t know if this counts as a present or not, but today I’ll start sharing the first of three novellas and one novel I’m going to post on Tapas.
First out of the gate is the novella version of Only In Your Dreams:

It’s quite similar to the manga version, but perhaps if you enjoyed one you’ll enjoy the other? In any case, the first chapter goes up a little later this morning, and a new one (of varying lengths--some are really short) will follow every Monday morning for the next few months.
Come by in a couple of days to see what other stories (this time not one you’ve heard before!) I’ve got to share. There’s a pseudo-old-English high fantasy novella, a less-annoyingly-written high fantasy novella with an unusual protagonist, and a post-post apocalyptic sci-fi novel! None of them are anything at all like Only In Your Dreams! I have no idea if that’s good or bad!
Also, the print version of Only In Your Dreams will be available for purchase in a couple of weeks, give or take. I was aiming for pre-Christmas, but wasn’t happy with the test prints so have been revising...

Well this is interesting. I just discovered that anybody can publish novels on Tapas now. Anybody, which would include me.
In addition to the novella version of Only In Your Dreams (which is nearly identical to the manga version and can be purchased on Amazon), I also have a full-length post-post-apocalyptic sci-fi novel, American Wanderers, sitting around waiting for a final-draft polishing that isn’t likely to see a manga adaptation any time soon.
I personally prefer manga to novels, but... how about y’all wonderful manga readers? Interest in seeing text-only writing published here?

Very sorry about the unplanned delay--a bunch of unfortunate health and life things came together simultaneously and knocked out our buffer and then some.
We'll hopefully be able to get going again on the last few pages of chapter 4 within a couple of days or so, and then will take a bit of a break to get caught up and re-buffered before jumping into the next chapter.
