Hey there, my name is Mana Lei, and I'm a digital artist from Canada!
I'll update more here soon when I am prepared enough to post! I have a comic in the works, but it's still in the WIP writing process right now (may be for a while, so I'll hold my place here, but I have been working on it for a long time, and I hope to not disappoint once I get it going!).

uRgghhh I can't wiiin... we're still looking for a roommate, and with me not getting enough hours at work, things KEEP SLOWING DOWN bc I need to take commissions right now to make up for extra funds. I have so much WIPs going for my comic rn, but in the meantime I am going to make a little side vent/thoughts comic thing to fill in the blanks (just to update things from me visually)
so I essentially have lots of comic WIPs I am trying super hard to finish, but my commissions are taking priority, and it's flaring my stress and depression again so like.. slowing down until I can get my comic posted. THis is so frustrating bc I just wanna work on it T_T
sorry for the long wait, I'm just about done my couple last immediate refs that I need, and I've also started on the cover page. Things should get rolling this month, just gotta take care of a couple things and all will be good *thumbs up*
slowly trudging through designs, bear with me orz
Once I finish outlining out Chapter 1, I'm going to start a rotational method so that I can start releasing finished pages. A rough idea:
- outline/sketch
- design as needed (ie. characters, environment, etc. as I'll need them in order to draw them lol)
- finished page
- writing
- rinse and repeat
- (the occasional other drawing on the side bc I need breaks)
- This way I can still keep planning ahead while still releasing content (slowly..)
also RIP I'm not really good at keeping a consistent schedule, so my posting is gonna be be irregular (especially with my work schedule), so just a warning in advance as it's just how life is for me^^'

I'll get faster as time goes on, I just have to manage a lot in the beginning, but I've made a lot of progress. SOON.
I've finally worked out templates and am starting to sketch stuff n_n might still be a while, but I plan to sketch out the first 5 (actually 6) chapters before I write more. Still have some inbetween stuff to figure out, but it's nice to finally have the ball rolling.
update: got through some other things I had to finish first, and I can say with certainty that I can finally start making progress this month. Aww yess~
In the meantime, here is a better view of the icon since it's a little hard to see
Gonna be tag teaming doing christmas gift drawings as well as page sketches orz. Trying my best to use this page to keep me motivated, yes yes (also to let ppl know I am actually active)

- 1 character ref done (for myself, but I can post later), still need to do 1 more (for most relevant use, more will be done as I advance and introduce characters + outfits)

Placeholder is in place for my comic while I continue to work on long term development. I'm posting it here too since I'll have to eventually replace it on the main comic page later.
