so if werewolves are a thing, what else exists ?

How does the werewolf thing work in this universe? Like, when Piper turns wolfy how much humanity does he retain? Also, are there more werewolves/dangerous creatures in the woods? (that's 2 questions but oh well)

how come in the pages before piper was "killed" he looked more human but now he was more werewolf-like features ? :0 was it caused by him being killed?
